Ok so I have a video I need to upload so people can watch it. The problem is that it is about 640mb and over a hour long. Is there anyway I can dewide it into parts or make it a .rar file?

Feeling Completely Undermined.

Hmmm, not had much experience of this, what you do try doing is right clicking the video file, select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder.

This may lower file size, and you can unpack it from the folder, however I don't know if you can host zipped folders, but its worth a shot, hope it works.

Do you mean you want to upload it somewhere so people can download it (e.g. Megaupload) or upload it somewhere were people can watch it (e.g. Youtube)?

If its the latter, try www.veoh.com - you can upload any video, any size, any length. Plus it has much better video quality than youtube.

It's Soccer not Football :P

You might have to split the movie files into separate parts using a video creator program and upload each 10min part onto youtube or veoh.
but i dont know why u would want to put it in a rar if you would like to watch it. Putting it into a rar is only useful if you want to upload the archive so people can download it, or if u split it like Roy said, u can upload it onto megaupload or rapidshare.

Here's a nice tutorial I found on how to make a .rar archive using multiple .rar files, instead of one.

http://www.binaries4all.com/winrar/

But generally for something like this it might be best to make one zipped file, instead of the above which is better for torrent distribution of files and things.
