*Checks IGN* I'm not so interested enough to go considerably out of my way just to get a LBP Beta key but I'll keep checking back on IGN every 5 or so hours to see if the keys are up. They didn't give no indication about what sort of time it would be. Today? Tomorrow morning? Evening? Meh. |

It was 29th of October for the EU, and 21st for U.S. But now they have brought it forward to the 24th for U.K. and Irl and the 22nd for rest of EU (which doesn't really make any sense).

It does make sense. Games come out in the UK on friday and obviously Wednesday in the rest of Europe. If they released it on the same day as the rest of the EU then things would mess up and people might not be as impulsive to buy in midweek. This fantastic release schedule means everyone gets it in the same week |

Beta's almost over... =( ...made my first level called "Slightly Mad" and you can check it out by searching for "mad" in the cool level search and my icon is a big picture of my teeth (disgusting). haha thats awesome, yeah i want that vest too, and give my self a shot at making young snake. i cant wait to see how this game turns out, u can just get online and make levels with randoms? if so we should get a big mgsf level on the go haha, maybe a slope with a big shagohod thing chasing us all haha |

Well i'm guessing that the "story" mode is really just a tutorial (i think that one of the producers of the game said it). It's up to you man, but really you have to get online if want to enjoy LBP for what it is. Edited by Nathan_snake, Oct 11 2008, 10:21 AM.

Nathan's partly right... some of the levels in the story mode are basically tutorials orientating you with the controls but there are over 60 premade levels that the final game will ship with. I find it hard to believe that there could be over 60 tutorial levels. In the beta, the "king curator" says there are 7 others like him so there must be other worlds to explore... possibly like the settings available to you in Create mode. However, yes, the majority of the fun you'll get out of this game will be from being online. You don't have to play with other people but you would miss out on all the great user-created content that's out there. Some of it is better than what the developer's made... and it's only been a few weeks. |

A guy i have added on PSN has LittleBigPlanet already. I'm sick of this always happening (just like MGS4). Oh and guess who it is? The same guy who had MGS4 about 2 and a half weeks before release who was giving the storyline to sites which wanted it. |

I heard about this. It's so ******* stupid. It's made in England, yet the U.S. gets it on time and Europe doesn't? I'm sick of all this crap. Still, shouldn't speculate until SCEE officialy announce anything. |
