Letter in a Bottle - By Tommy. My love, I hope this reaches you though you are far away. I'm standing on the beach with blue waters in my way. I hope this bottle grows some wings and flies onto your shore. The mist of salt on my face stings, for the girl whom I adore. The odds that this will really reach you really aren't too great. I just wish that you knew I need you and it's not to late to turn the tides of fate. I'm hoping with the strongest hope that this, my letter, makes it there by violent sea or rocky slope, by raging river or by air. I need to tell you, it's not over and that these miles still mean nothing I swore to always be your lover and you swore to still be loving even when we're far away half the world is just a step and I won't wait another day to send this message on it's trip. So watch the sea for a flying bottle as it comes about and comes again about the sea it will toss and toddle my heart full of love, it's sails full of wind. Hope you enjoyed it; wrote it for that special person in my heart.

Is she ever lucky. That was very creative and beautiful. If a boy ever wrote something so sweet for me I would be touched. I really liked the use of imagery. |

I have to tell you, I hate, hate, hate rhymed verse, but I enjoyed this. It's sort of got the language of free verse, but with a rhyme scheme. I would like to see what you can do with free verse. |
