   o Thinner, lighter than DS Lite with bigger screens o No GBA slot. o 300,000 pixel camara o SD card slot o Speakers larger and have improved sound quality o AAC audio player (No MP3 support?) o Still only one touchscreen. (translator error) o Downloadable software (DS Ware). Wii Points renamed to Nintendo Points. Software price brackets will be Free/200/500/800 points. o Web browser (downloadable from DS Ware store) o Will release in Japan November 1 for 18900 yen (about $180), two colors: White and flat black. o European / American release in Spring 2009 MICSTER WANT. Especially as I only have a phat DS. Though which would I rather upgrade, My fat DS or my fat PSP ... hmmmmm |

That's awesome. My DS's top screen broke a long time ago (my little sister did it), and I never replaced it. I would like to be able to play my DS games again... I might invest in this when it comes out. |

I'm kinda put off by the lack of GBA slot, Mega Man Zero is still one of my favourite series', however I would kill for a bigger screen on my DS, so I'll probably be buying one. |

About marchish over here. Though if its like the other DS models then the Japanese one shall have English text [DS' are also region free] and it'd cost about £102 based on the Japanese price of 18,900 Yen. So importing it from the November 1st release date is an option but if yer not up for that then its a wait till Spring |

Yeah same here. I too have a fat DS but i'm not getting the 'DSi' if it doesn't play GBA games. I still have my GBA (not an SP, original GBA) but the screen is dim and it eats through batteries like theres no tomorrow. I still play GBA games often on my DS. There are loads of great GBA games. I suppose I could (and if I bought a DSi I still would) keep my fat DS as well but...it depends on how much this is going to be. £100, forget it. If it goes down in a year or so time to £70 odd then maybe. |

WOAH, this is news to me, a camera? looks more sleek than before. That no GBA slot is awesome, but still this wont make me upgrade from my dslite |

I think the only thing that makes me want this right now would the the allure of the camera build into it. But its about the same mega pixel as my cell phone so my brain is telling the impulse shopper in me to back down until my current Ds dies. That... And I want to see if they come out with more colours. I want a pink one again.

The DSI i think is matching the psp 3000 But both have silly little add -ons that arent really needed. |

I'd heard about this, but I didn't realize they took out the gba slot. I'd rather have my Advance games than a dinky lil camera with poor resolution... It's pretty neat you can see who you're playing though. |
