end level boss? anyway, that depends. if you mean villain as in villain-james-bond-style, then I'll probably choose Liquid, but if you mean villain as in enemy/boss then... Vulcan Raven perhaps. and Im one of the very few (?) people who actually liked Fortune. and The Boss is one of my favourite characters in MGS but I dont really consider her a villain.

Do you mean, as game play fighting wise of "Best" or story wise? Over all, I say Ocelot was the best. I always valued him as my favorite. His fight sucked in MGS1 but for the story as a whole he was the greatest Villain. I love The Boss, but I wouldn't pick her as a villain. |

Story-Wise? Ocelot. I don't know why, just something keeps me wanting more and more of Ocelot. Battle-Wise? The End. The way they made that battle, having it as long as it did, being able to sneak up behind him, take his Camo or just have a plain, simple Sniper fight. You had all these choices of defeating him, I thought it was great. Edited by Mr. Snake, Oct 5 2008, 01:43 PM.

I agree with Mr. Snake, if I "have to choose". Ocelot has a lot of depth as a character which I have come to appreciate greatly upon completing all of the games. The fight with the End was indeed one of epic proportions — it was such a free-form battle and there were so many different cool and even funny ways of beating him. |

story wise- ocelot or liquid they both have so much depth, liquid has so much evil and is so interesting. ocelot is always fun, always creating twists and turns, and in the end always manipulating everything and everyone |

Yeah, Liquid is a very interesting character. The contrast of his world view to Solid Snake's is epic and his essentially being "ruled by his genes" and not living by asserting his will with every bit of strength he can muster is a compelling fatalism. |

Liquid. I loved him. He was smart, cocky, sassy, and much more. I'm quite disappointed that we didn't get to know or see more of him. |

The best? How do you mean? My favourite was probably Liquid Snake in MGS, even thoguh he really annoyed me to fight against he could have kicked Snakes ass if it wasn't for a convinient death due to foxdie! The fury fight was dissapointing because he seemed liek he could have been a good character but you don't see him hardly and then you just meet him and kill him really easily...that was a bit silly but he was cool! The Liquid-Ocelot fight at the end of MGS4 was fantastic aswell! You probably all knew but if in that ifht you let him grab yu and you don't get him off he will eventually kiss you on the cheek!...What were they thinking??? |

gameplay wise, only the End really captured the whole "feel" of the game. every other game was "fight te baddie head on" but this one actually made you be sneaky and stealthy. story wise...who cares? |
