A Day Without You A drop of water is just dew, just water, nothing more, unless within it I see you the girl whom I adore. A cloud drifts by the cold night's sky alone, I lay and stare. But then your hands encompass mine and my heart is ensnared. The feeling in my hand is nothing without your sweet touch, but when it is my heart you're touching, it almost seems too much. A day can fade and then a night without a special purpose. But it's your voice that sets me right. Without you, time is worthless. A day bereft of the kind theft of my heart by your smile truly it means nothing to me. Nothing is worth the while. But in the end, time does suspend, and you leave my soul leavend. When we're apart, it breaks my heart, but with you I'm in heaven. Hope you enjoyed it. |
