I made mine from dark blue fabric, actually. For the width of it, I measured from the bottom of my brow to my hairline, folded the large fabric to match that width, using enough fabric to make it thick enough for it to actually serve some purpose beyond just mimicking an appearance (this is actually a very useful thing to wear for me, when I'm working out in the sun or something like that), and stitch the sides. If you want to get really creative, going more for the look of Snake's bandana in MGS2, you can burn the ends and let it go for about 2-3 inches.

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake	I think I will make one but can you tell me what fabric to use because I was in walmart and alot of the fabric that they have there is too hard or too flimsy I am looking for something more on the lines of the type that MGS4 Snake wears.Sorry if thats hard to understand since I wrote it kinda weird.

I think it's cotton or finely-woven canvas, but it's still comfortable. It's not as flexible as it appears to be in the game, but you'd be sacrificing a lot of the functionality for flexibility. Ultimately, it still looks exactly like Snake's bandana. I remember realizing how useful the bandana was, a while after having worn it several times. They key is to make it almost four feet long. The fabric is absorbent, and keeps the sweat off your brow. If you break your arm, you can use it as a sling a la MGS3. As absorbent as it is, it can also be used to cover deep cuts or be used as a tourniquet. The length of it helps with two things: it can be used much like a rope, and while wearing it you can use the tails of it to wipe away dirt, blood, or other things.

And thanks for the fabrics I will try looking for them this week.And when I am done making it (who knows when that will be) I will post a picture of it.Thanks again.
