Eugh, never had an argument with an MGS 'Fan' like this before. Complete waste of time, didn't know what he was talking about, and you won't believe the point he was trying to justify.  Basically I commented on a MGS Music video, then he came out with some tripe about Solid Snake actually being Big Bosses Son, no a clone, anyway it eventually turned into a PM argument. Here is the argument:-Me:You dont know the story do you. Please go to Wikipedia and read up on it right now before I have a hissy fit lol. The Twat:i did way before MGS 4 came out i saw walktrough videos of MGS & MGS2 i played Snake Eater and MGS2 & MG & MG2 & MGSPO & MGS4 i still say Snake is Big Boss's son Me:Please read, and realise your wrong. (Source Wikipeida) Big Boss (ビッグ・ボス, Biggu Bosu?) is a central character in the Metal Gear series,[4] reputed to be "The Greatest Warrior of the Twentieth Century."[5] He is introduced in the original Metal Gear as Solid Snake's commanding officer, but turns out to be the enemy leader and returns as an antagonist in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. The Twat:dude they didn't play Metal Gear it wasn't until Metal Gear Solid that Snake found out he was a clone but before that Snake was told by BIG BOSS himself that Snake was his SON and during Elisa's prediction of the future she tells Big Boss : " your sons les enphantes terrible, your SON will bring the world in ruin, your SON will save the world ". now who are you to question BIG BOSS & a girl that can see the future that The Twin Snake's and Solidus aren't his kids i will side with the game because the game is facts Me:Big Boss has three clone children, Solid and Liquid, born from Big Mama. And a perfect clone, Solidus. Are you denying that? The Twat:well when Big Boss calls one of em his son and when all the clones are calling each other brother and because a girl that saw the future calls them Big Boss's children i say there his kids so yeah i'm denying it. i'm denying that there clones since none of em is Big Boss if they we're clones they would be Big Boss 2,3 & 4 but there there own person Me:Ok, this is the biggest bunch of tripe I've ever seen. Have you ever played MGS4? Watch the cutscene with Eva, where she TELLS you you are a clone. Also, this has long been known since MGS1. Why did Liquid do what he did, to redeem his CURSED genes. Solidus is the only exact replica pf Big Boss. Solid and Liquid have some blood from the East. Trust me, I'm not wrong. Also go to the MGS Forums, ask people there.I've never known anyone to misinterpret the MGS story to this degree. I'm a 10 year veteran of MGS. The Twat:dude i played MGS4 twice. the still beautiful Eva didn't tell Snake your a clone since her reaction to Snake was a mothers love and you said it yourself that The Twin Snakes have blood from the east if he was a perfect Naked Snake clone he wouldn't have that blood and look at Liqued he's blonde last i checked Naked Snake wasn't blonde and he sounds british Naked Snake never sounded british. lets take out what Liqued said about them being clones can you say there clones, no because almost nothing makes him a second Big Boss but so you know i acknowledge that in technical terms Snake is a clone since he would have made the same mistake Big Boss made ( if you know what i mean ) but he is not a second Big Boss for there is 1 Big Boss ( Naked Snake ) Me:So you agree that he is technically a clone, but isn't exactly the same as Big Boss? The Twat:well yeah. if you we're refereeing that in technical terms Snake is a clone but that he & Big Boss aren't the same sorry than because i see them as a father and son not as the same person Me:But you admit they are technically a clone, or literally. Yet figuratively they are father and son? Because that was my argument all along. The Twat:because it's a bit of both figuratively The Twin Snakes are his sons and literally they are since Snake is the only 1 that wore the head band and because Liqued has a different hair color Snake has a different taste in what he smokes and because not once Snake got laid after a mission even tho his mom & dad did after operation Snake Eater Nearly at the end if your still reading.  Me:Ok, fairly stupid points. Snake and Liquid do not look like him, because they are not EXACT clones. The only true replica is solidus. "Snake dosn't get laid after a mission." First off, a pointless statement, that has nothing to do with it. Second, Big Boss is actually infertile after his exposure to radiation before MGS3. Snake, and all the clones, have been denied the ability to reproduce, they either do not have a penis, or no balls, or cannot have sex. The Twat:i know there stupid points i said it for fun and were the hell does it say Big Boss is sterile and don't say MGS4 database i had it and there was nothing saying Big Boss is sterile they mentioned that incident which i wonder why mention something we haven't seen it said Big Boss was exposed but left without side effects of exposure MeThen don't waste my time. This debate has been fruitless, pointless beyond belief. You are incapable of proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Any point you have risen has been invald, or later changed. Don't respond to this unless you have anything mature, or understandable to say. And Finally The Twat: listen i don't give a shit about proper spelling while online it counts for shit , and i don't give a damn about a debate about the sons of Big Boss since the game itself is fucking telling you he's Big Boss's son, Big Boss said it, Elisa said it, Big Mama ( or Eva as she will always be remembered as in my mind ) said it and they call each other brother if they were clones they wouldn't call each other brother. i'm done if you people won't listen to reason and the fucking game than screw all of ya. also don't bother replying i'm getting a headache from this so your blocked God this debate was pointless, I don't know what the hell he was going on about half the time. Thats like alot of internet users. Most are between 13 and 15, full of testosterone and really can't be wrong. However, they are awful. I really really can't believe anyone would argue that. Not like I havent seen it before though. |

Even if it happens to be where they're brutally famous from?  Eitherway, I really don't understand how he was wrong? Unless you are saying that Big Boss is not Solid Snakes father, but if he ain't, then whom is? Fact: Solid Snake was born from a prefertilized egg that was put into Big Mama (Not saying whom that egg originated from) and contains mostly Big Boss' DNA which is slightly altered and the rest from EVA. When a child has their genome from two sources (Which they all up until now has had) they are called parents. Since Big Boss is male and Solids parent, he is thus a father. This fact is NOT deleted by the fact that Solid IS a clone. It doesn't mean that the baby born from the process of cloning, has no parents, we still not even today have such technology that we could make a clone without a male and female parent. What I'm saying is that neither of you were wrong, but neither was right either. Solid Snake is a clone whoms father is Big Boss, although someone could say that Big Boss was Solid Snakes BROTHER, but that's another issue altogether. Cheers, Caldera |

No, you have not read it properly or mis-understood. I asked him if he was implying that Solid Snake was FIGURATIVALY Big Boss' son. Which is a perfectly acceptable view, and seen by many. However, Snake is LITERALLY a clone of Big Boss. He was not concieved naturally, was genetically altered, and therefore OFFICIALLY recognised as a clone. This really spouts from 'The Twat's' misunderstanding of the difference in meaning of 'Literally' and 'Figurativaly'. |

I still don't quite understand what you're saying... are you saying that Big Boss is not Solids father literally? If so, you really ought to elaborate on what you mean by "literate father". If you mean by "literate father" that Big Boss would be a father image for Solid, then I do agree, but from my opinion that goes better under "figurative father" since father images doesn't have to be your genetic father. Either my english is worse than I thought, or there's something fishy about this case.  Clone, or not, he still has a father, you really can't get away without having one at least at one point of your life. Big Boss is Solids genetic father in the same way that yours father is your father. Also the term "unnatural concievment" is quite vague to me. Are you suggesting that Solid was not born from natural child birth, but rather raised in somekind of growing environment? After the operation Snake Eater EVA and Big Boss had some really steaming night, which indirectly resulted in Solid Snake. They were both infertile, yes, but this sex they had strengthened their emotional bond quite much, which without EVA would have proapably not agreed to give birth to Big Bosses kids. Even some real life couples trust their impregnations through similar means which Solid originated from. So from my opinion this is very natural. (Even if it is a bit broken family to begin with.) They had some good time, some accidents happen and some time later they have a triplet through regular child birth. I can see nothing unnatural about that.
