Now I plan on getting a PSP so I want one of these games. The question is which one? I heard MPO is good because of its story but rarely people go online whereas MPO+is better for online? Your thought please? Cheers. |

That is the jist, But last time I checked the EU version, just as many people played MPO online (maybe more) than MPO+ online. MPO is far better though. Although I do like infinity mission on MPO+, just standard sneaking missions with no cutscenes to deal with. Edited by Wayno, Oct 9 2008, 09:53 PM.

u gotta get the story line which is mpo( the online to that is ok) mpo+ is if you want to go up the next level for online play i recommend both since i like both games

MPO = good for story MPO+ = better for online and if you just liek the concept of recruiting soldiers. Other than that it's okayish. More people play MPO Online though |

I would reccomend getting MPO first since it really sets the stage basically for MPO+. If you play the first one you will get the storyline which is pretty good.And also by the time you finish the game you will most likely have a lot of soldiers.So then with those soldiers youll have good people to start you off for MPO+ and make it alittle simpler for you to go online and play infinite mission and get more soldiers. |

Personally, I dont like +'s online that much because they weakened all the unique characters...so you HAVE to get good soldiers. On MPO I used to own with Raikov, Null, Python and Snake...in that order. On + they all suck. TBH i havent played MPO since i got +, but i am kind of missing it...story mode was fun. I just wish i could use the SOCOM in MPO lulz |

MPO is a must get if you want to play the timeline that falls in between Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 1. If you want to play MGS Online through your PSP go with MPO+. In MPO+ you also recruit soldiers and build a fine tuned army.. which can be used online in VR (virtual reality) and RC (real combat). In RC mode, you risk losing your soldiers when they die, but at the same time you have a chance to win over some other good soldiers. MPO and MPO+ are 2 completely different things. MPO+ is basically an add-on to MPO and with MPO+ UMD, you do not need the original Portable Ops UMD to play online. The characters are also much stronger in MPO+ than they are in MPO so if your plan is to play Online, then just go with MPO+, or make MPO+ a priority, and worry about tracking down the original MPO later on because it's actually difficult to locate that game now. |

actually no mpo has 20-40 people online mpo+ has 35-70 at all times soo if you want a storyline mpo if you want plain sneaking and difficult online i suggest mpo+ |
