VR stands for Virtual Reality, and it's basically meant to be a training simulation, if you will. In MGS1 and MGS2 Substance only, (apart from the MGS1 VR disc, and the five missions on the document of MGS2, with substance) they're just a place to test your skills in sneaking, elimination, weapon training, and a variety of other modes. However, they are timed and have score margins, encouraging the best time and best method for best possible score, and if nothing else, will sharpen you for the main game. I know thats one thing I hated it would have at least boosted its goodness a little if it had a few VR missions.At least 50 or more.They should have made a damn remake of VR missions too for god sakes people would love that I know I would. |

dude fuck you and twin snakes that is the worst controller made in history ever. the vr missions for mgs1 were still breathtaking, i used to love that background on the title screen and how the same thing stays there when you load vr missions and it's just a world that never sleeps, the screen always moving all these awesome patterns that was some good shit for ps1, and mgs2 VR was great too like in the middle of nowhere ahah they shoulda made MGS3 VR !! some jungle target practice, that would've been fuckin ACE |

Are you talking to me?If you are why are you coming out so rudely all I said was that TTS could have done a little better if they had some damn vr missions on it.You act like I said TTS is 100x better than the original.You make it seem like I am being a fanboy and I said nothing to that extent so dont curse at me.And just so you know I think that the original will always be better than the remake.Oh and everything that you just said about the vr missions in MGS1 and 2 I agree on.So think about what you say to someone before you start mouthing off. |

All this anger... I mean even I can chill over MGS. (Nobody bring up the MGS4 controls thread)  Well, I believe that VR should have been included in TTS, but totally new stuff maybe, like a few main game areas, like MGS2's Alternative missions. Maybe not as much as say MGS2 had, but I would have appreciated it. Basically just a new VR experience, I think it would have been fun. I love MGS1 and it's VR, however I suck ass at the game, and don't have as much fun as with MGS2 for this reason, all about the winning, unless it's story playing. Graphics mean nothing, and I should know, I still love loads of games on the PS1. It's what you get out of it. I have fun, but I'm far better at TTS/MGS2, and enjoy VR/Main game more like this. As much as I play MGS1, I still suck.  I'm NOT saying MGS1 is a worse game here, I too believe the original is better than TTS. (OTT cutscenes are just mad sometimes) I just enjoy playing well, and I can't in MGS1, so just play for the story, not what a speedrunner is supposed to do too often. |

WHAT IS A VR MISSION what kinda retarded ass question is that, why take him so seriously #1 VR missions is the best way to train you, you shouldn't need to ask if you're a TRUE MGS FANBOY LZOZLOLZOZ and #2 TWIN SNAKES SUCKS DICK AND NOBODY SHOULD PLAY IT, IT'S A DISGRACE TO HIDEO HIMSELF, go original foo even that game has plentiful bag of tricks for VR, and ORIGINAL CONTROLS After Substance MGS started going down the drain, Snake bein a mama's boy ?? NO VR missions !? Imagine that, jungle target shootout, that would've been sick shit MGS4 was decent the target range was ok but I wish you could at least set characteristics to the damn transparent dummy soldiers !! Like make them use tactics and open fire, that would've been loads more fun and more practice |
