Well I was always wondering what the term "sloth" meant as I browsed the forums yesterday. Not really putting much thought into it, I went back on my PS3 to playing some more MGO only to find a weird symbol by my character name. Yes it was a sloth and to my horror the description said I was easily killed by head shots.  Not surprising for a new player I supposed. So my question to you more experienced players, did you start out as sloths? Or did your skills from past MGO games start you off at a different rank?

It's really easy to get sloth even if you are a good player, because most of people know how to shoot headshots. I was a sloth in the beginning too ^^ now I'm a lowly foxhound, isn't really that great of an achievement in my opinion. :/ I never reseted and will never reset my first character, much better when you can track your all-time stats. |

Hi, I play MPO+, but hoping to play the awesome MGO, anyways, the rank you get is (i am pretty sure) to do on your kill/death ratio(MPO+). Is it the same on MGO, and i know that KOs have less points than kills but i have found it to rank you up better(MPO). try it on MGO and let me know. my 1st rank(1st soldier i made) was eagle for the soldier i use now the 1st one i got was chameleon for playing 3 hours non-stop TSNE,then i got eagle and can't get rid of it,i already have the requirements for croc but it won't give it to me cause eagle won't go away T_T Edited by g-fox, Oct 10 2008, 07:45 PM.

The only ranks I have gotten are Flying Squirrel and Eagle. So I guess I'm an average player at a level 5, but I'm standing at no rank, so I don't know what that means. |

Mine was Eagle (and so far only) took a long damn time to get it to. I fail to see how a guy who's level 1 or 2, only played for about 3-4 hours could get while it took me 80 freaking hours (I think) to achieve this already common rank. (I know some of them may be new characters made by already good players) P.S a little help on getting the snake emblem I know you need to play sneaking a lot but can one of you give me an estimate on the amount of time you have to play it. |

may i also say that those ranks that require you to play alot of a certain mode are lower than sloth(in the ranks menu it was below sloth on someone's character i don't mean the rank sucks),so you'd have to loose eagle somehow by not head shooting people,like knifing them(but not get jaws somehow) otherwise eagle with always override it i have eagle right now and i should have croc since i have more "other" kills than headshot's,by about 200,and alot of them were knife kills,my k/d ratio is over 1.50 but eagle overrides it for some reason even though croc is above eagle

My first and only rank before I retired my very short MGO2 career (which may start up again if I decided to buy the MEME) was Eagle. I got it the second day of playing, and it never changed. It's the same one I had in the Beta. |
