I have no doubt this is coincidence, but its interesting nonetheless.. Just for fun.. Perhaps the biggest conspiracy theory around is that the Illuminati, who stemmed from knights templar and freemasonry, are secretly ruling government behind the scenes. In fact, many of the worlds richest men and government leaders today do infact stem from the original illuminati bloodlines. There are even statues/monuments erected throughout the US of former members, predominantly in DC. Who knows if they are still around and if the conspiracy is true, but if it is, there is no doubt that symbolism and play on numbers still plays a huge rule in their plans just as it did when they were a recognized organization centuries ago. Tomorrow is the 700th anniversary of the founding of the Knights Templar (EDIT:(typo) It is the 700th anniversary of Fri the 13th, the day many of the templar were arrested and burned, leading to their disbanding, a day that has since become an occultic holiday and tradition) Illuminati was founded 1776. the remaining two #'s 6 and 1 when added = 7. Perhaps the biggest secret of the Illuminati and Knights Templar is the secrets of the Church/Religion and Gods holy # is indeed 7. This is why the #7 has always been considered important to them, which makes the following anomolies seem a bit strange. It is believed that this stock market crash was allowed to happen to push towards the neccessity of a NAU and ultimately a global union, something they have been striving for since their founding. The original crash was a downfall of 777.7 points, which oddly was a 7% decrease. The solution, was a bailout of 700 billion dollars. This happened 7 years after the last tragic event on America, the 9/11 attacks, the date 9/29, barely more than 17 days after 9/11, the day when the mythical flight 77 crashed into the pentagon. 9/29 (9+2=11) (9-2=7).. Considering their history of an obsession with symbols and numbers, it makes you wonder.. =) let the flaming begin.. Edited by kappy0405, Oct 13 2008, 04:35 PM.

Conspiracy theories are all crack pot theories, nuff said. I've seriously never heard of the Knights of Templar, and to think they're the ones running the government, is absurd. I really have nothing else to add so I'll leave you with that. |

What? Sorry, but I know quite a lot about the Knights Templar, and about European history, so I don't know where you got this one from. Source, please.
So the Knights Templar was founded in 1308 was it? No thanks, I think you'll find it was founded around 1120. It was disbanded in 1312, before you say anything. There is no Templar special day tommorow.
No, it wasn't. Not even close
Thanks, bye. Edited by kkarbo, Oct 13 2008, 06:07 AM.

Your expectation of flaming was, no pun intended, quite vitriolic. I personally cast doubt on the veracity of many of the synchronicities you have supposedly revealed and don't necessarily think numerology is indicative of anything other than popular myth and superstition leaving a mark on history, or the illusion of such. It's easy to see patterns that are not really there even in the most impassioned pursuit of truth, as to so great an extent we create our own in the process of asserting our identities. |

haha i figured this would result in these kinds of posts.. maybe i should repeat the very first statement in my op. "I have no doubt this is coincidence, but its interesting nonetheless.. Just for fun.." Way to ingore that statement guys. It is funny to read some of these replies though.. The Departed
that is pretty narrowminded and dumb thing to say. Do you know what a conspiracy theory is? Its simply an idea about a plan between 2 or more people. To imply that a plan between 2 or more people never existed is actually sort of funny. The Departed You must not know history too well. They played a huge role in the church centuries ago, and played a big part in the French revolution. Im sure youve heard all about the holy crusades, they are basically the same holy wars being fought today in the middle east. The Knights Templar played a prominent role in them. I also never said or implied that they controlled government. I said the group known as the illuminati (whos goal was to control world government) has ties to freemasonry, which is affiliated with the knights templar. kkarbo
Im sure you know that the Knights Templar is a masonic organization then. The Illuminati was founded by Adam Weshaupt who became a mason in 1777. Albert Pike, who is revered in Washington DC, was a master mason and a member of the Illuminati as well. There are several others. To this day, several world leaders are masons. "The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment; let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always concealed by another name, and another occupation. None is fitter than the lower degrees of Freemasonry" Adam Weishaupt kkarbo yeah, im not sure why i said 'founded'.. i think i fudged the founding of the illuminati with that sentence. It was actually founded in 1096 though, not 1120. In 1308, the trials began that eventually led to its disbanding. It was the 700th anniversary of Friday the 13th, when many members were arrested and burned at the stake. kkarbo
I dont believe I said anything about the 'weekly decline'. The first day it did drop 777.68 points, which was 7%, the 2nd worst daily drop ever. "Thanks, goodbye?" nice sarcasm, nice try. Young Snake
lol, if any of my points were that simple and naive, youd have a decent point. Symbolism, including a play on #s has always been important to certain groups of people. If they are real, its likely that these things could be set up. That being said, I did say it is likely coincidence. -X- Entity
huh? im not sure how you got to that conclusion. I just expected 'flaming', thats all. I do agree with the rest of your post though. 覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧 "condemnation without examination is the height of ignorance" Albert Einstein "an error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propogation, nor does truth become error because nobody will see it" gahndi How much research have any of you guys done on history, the Illuminati, or other conspiracy theories? Aside from Kkarbo, Im guessing none of you have done much. It is funny though how many of you instantly call anything not well known a 'crackpot theory' or 'insane' without even thinking about it.. Remember though, people once thought the world was flat as well. Anyone saying anything else was labeled crazy. This is no different.. Edited by kappy0405, Oct 13 2008, 04:36 PM.
