We've got Gekko!; Could they play in MGO (and others)

Now, there are loads of ways you could do this. Have one Gekko and both teams trying to take it down, and have one person as the Scarab/Dwarf Gekko, in a sort of find Snake mode. But instead of collecting dog tags or getting shocks they both have to just get kills.

One team could be the Gekkos and the other team is the people. The Gekkos are worth one kill for every team member, but obviously are harder to take down, thus balancing it.

Anyway, this is how the Gekko would work. The psyche bar is replaced with the Acid bar. As the gekko runs kicks or climbs, or is shot, the bar falls, and down to one bar results in colllapse. All 4 gone results in topling. The player must raise it to two bars to climb back up. To avoid the tripping, the player can hold circle to eject the acid, sort of a reincarnation of the reloading element. It leaves you vulnarable but it has to be done.

The head always faces the driection of the camera, and the legs face the direction of the LS. They control just like REX or people.
R1 - Kick . . . L1: Shoots . . . Crouching: Roundhouse Kick . . . Running: Drop kick
L1 - Aims (OTS)
X - (hold) Run . . . L1: Jump . . . Crouching: Charge
O - Unload Acid
Triangle - (hold) Moo (lowers enemy psyche) . . . L1:FPV . . . Near wall: Climb wall
L3 - Crouch/Stand
R2 - Change weapon

Their kick varies under circumstances. If they're right infront of you, plain kick. On the ground, Stomp, behind you, that spazzy knife slash they do in the game.

Weapons
Auto - Nose Gun
Secondary - Machine Gun , Grenades, Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, A.I. Scarabs/ 2P controlled Scarab/ PSP controlled Scarab

And the Scarab. They smash from falling high heights, and can climb walls by walking into them. Controls
R1 - Spin Melee . . . Hold: Grab . . . L1: Shoot GSR
L1 - Aim (OTS and LO)
X - Roll (Knocks over enemies) . . . On wall: Let go of wall
O - Reload
Square - Toggle Lock-on
Triangle - Tap while grabbing enemy to electrocuten . . . L1: FPV

Adding More. Say that they ever let us fight using Metal Gears.
For Ray, the only difference would be that it could press triangle to jump onto building tops, jump over the enemy or to dive into the sea (surfacing dock is selected by player). X runs when moving and blocks when still. He would only have one street fighter move. The Lazer is replaced with Water Cannon and they get one shot every time they dock.

What would be good is just having it one team vs. 2 - 3 gekko, but it'd have to be on a bigger map with loads of opportunities to sneak up and use rooftop attacks.

Gekko is a pretty good idea, might be a problem making it balenced though, they are such a big target :/

A Map with gekko operating would be good.

Imagine a teamdeathmatch then all you hear is moo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gekkos crash in randomly have to avoid gekkos aswell as the enemy would be crazy.plus it would make more use for chaff grenades and SOP.

Unfortunately Konami didn't finaly come through for us and made a pathetic mode which is the exact same as every other mode but with reward points.

What about Haven Tropers? Just like everyone else, but X does a cartwheel, R1 Performs a chokehold with wire (hold) and attacks with beonette (tap), and L3 does a leap. Plus they can stick to walls.

Y’know, I have so much free time on my hands that I’m actually going to make an expansion pack wish list.

INTEGRAL


PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

Cyborg Ninja – He does Ninja things, and is equipped with Stealth Camo
Sniper Wolf – Her hands don’t shake and recoil is severally reduced. Characters will hesitate to shoot her at first.
Vulcan Raven – Basically, he has a big gun. He can also stun enemies with his raven.
Liquid – Can’t die. Not guns immediately. He must POS. All Snake powers. Unique PPK. Nut attack.
Psycho Mantis – He can take control of people and make them commit suicide, attack, use the as a shield, and is equipped with Stealth Camo (All stopped upon taking damage). He also floats instead of walks. Upon contact with a wall, he will float up. Can push people and manipulate objects and throw them.

MAPS


Storming Snowfield – Fight in a raging blizzard.
Dragon’s Dungeon – No stealth, a literal blood bath.
Hell’s Hanger – With the Doors wide open, fight internally of externally. From Raven’s Canyon to the entry elevator.

GAME MODES

Leader Mode – Teams score points by taking out the other team’s leader (Picked at random. Characters Selected by host).



Details
For characters that can jump high, aim with L1 and a Grenade HUD will show up. If it turns Red, that jump cannot be performed. If it turns green, it means the character will stick to that surface.

GreyFox does that Melee puch by holding R1. Tapping R1 performs Kicks, and holding X does a jump Stomp. The Lazer cannon needs 4 seconds to charge after holding L1 (but not between shots).

Vulcan Raven - He shoots with L1+R1, and latches enemies with Ravens with L1+R2 .

Psycho Mantis - R1, Force puch melee.
(the following moves only work on regular soldiers and haven troppers)
L1+R1, Grab human/object. (continually hold for human shield)
. . L2+R1, Throw
. . Sixaxis, Disarm
. . Triangle, Take contol
. . . . .X, Stop control
. . . . .Triangle, Comit suicide

That would be unfeasible with the map sizes, and they would have to shove in LOADS of damage physics if they were to do it right.

But still a good idea, but they are just to lazy to implement it

That's the thing though: i really wanted that, but i don't think Konami can handle that on their crappy servers.

Details

Fortune can only be defeated via melee attacks or rolls. She has her Rail gun.

Solidus Dashes with X. Swords, R1 is kick, L1+R1 is slices. Arms, R1 R1 is that scoop thing, L1+R1 fires rockets.

Nah, not crazy, that would be kick ass. If it can be done on the story mode, then why not online. So long as there are only two players controling and they were relativly decent conections.

SUBSITENCE

PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

Pain – Uses Tommy gun and Grenades. Also shoots lock on bees. Can create bee shield.
Fear – Can climb walls and jump high. He has several different bows he can fire. Regular, poison and grenade
End – He can regain health by tapping Triangle while in sunlight. His Parrot will locate every enemy and display it on his map.
Fury – Can Dash and jump high using his jets. Big Flamethrower. Vulnerable to knives.
Sorrow – He floats around and blasts people with his ray. The damage received is proportional to their amount of kills.
The Joy – Every skill level 3. Infinite ammo.

MAPS


Grannin Design Bureaux – Upstairs and downstairs, inside and out side.
Caves – Dark passageways from the waterfall to the entry point.
Virtuous Warehouse – The place where you rescue sokolov.

GAME MODES

3 way – 3 teams of 5. Team up, betray or just unload your ammo as you fight two enemy teams simultaneously.



Details
Pain Weapons, Tommy gun, Grenades, Bullet Bees, Enzmes, Bee coating. Hold Triangle to create bee armour and dance.

Fury, Forward + X for Dash, L1 + X for jump.

Sorrow - L1 + R1 for Ray.

As for your first idea, i don't think anyone will really want to be Fatman, Emma, Olga, or Ames.
And your idea for Fortune (or Lady Luck as you call her) how can anyone kill her if bullets deflect away from her and grenades don't explode near her? (And as you say that she can only be killed by melee attacks, why would anyone go so close to attack her when she has a rail gun? 1 direct hit with a rail gun from pretty much anywhere will be an instant kill, nevermind at close range.
