I read this thing from a site: By a research made in 1992, over 3,7 million americans have been UFO abducted since 1961. According to sceptic Philip Klass: If 3,7 million americans have been abducted since 1961, that would mean 340 americans have been abducted every day. And many who have been ''abducted'' by aliens say that it happened during night. So that would mean that one human has been abducted every two minute, at night for 30 years. Sounds crazy to me. There are also many UFO pictures, and videos what people claim to be real. I believe that they are fake. It isn't really hard to make them with modern technology. The older pictures are usually in horrible quality and you seriously can't see the difference, is it a flying saucer or some bird. Or usually pictures like this ufo You can see that this picture is photoshopped or faked some other way. ufo In the end, because there is no real and factual proof for aliens or flying saucers, I don't believe in them. Of course there can be extraterrestrial life somewhere out there, but no aliens have visited earth yet. What is your opinion about aliens? Do tell why. |

(shrugs) Stories abound, rumors persist, the blatant truth remains elusive. On this particular subject my stance has always been, no proof, no matter. Still made for great Unsolved Mysteries episodes though. |

There are obviously a different 'race' or 'species' of beings in this universe, there is no way we are the only living organisms in existence. [Along with animals, plants etc.] The problem is that they are probably entirely incomprehendable to us. So i doubt we'll ever make contact or vice versa. |

I think there might be extraterrestrials in the universe, I think that some planets may contain other forms of life that might have adapted to the different conditions. But I dont think that pictures of 'flying saucers' are real at all. Even if aliens did exist does that suggest there is just one race of alien or multiple types that use the same type of space faring vehicle, or mabye only one alien race is yet capable of space travel. In short i'm not really sure. |

I totally believe in UFO's and aliens, and I watch all those sci-fi shows so, I believe there are aliens out there, or another species A lot of the UFO pictures and stuff are like fakes, or photoshopped. So it is hard to like find out what is true. But if you have actually witnessed one yourself, then like everything would be different than just someone saying they 'believe in aliens' and have not witnessed anything. |

For example, asteroids have been found with bacteria or organisms on them. There are various planet like objects wich are in a similar distance to their star in which we are to ours. I can't be arsed to look for them and I don't know their names because i'm not an astronomer.
Now this is a crock, Henry. I don't see why. Unless they were made of dark matter or other such invisible matters. Which I doubt. If you are talking about a logical problem suh as them being so different that a human mind couldn't process their existance, that's crap too. Any Animal that thinks there is an old guy with a white beard who hears knows and sees all can comprehend another life form. Because of the sheer size of the universe. You are honestly that sub conciously arrogant that you think we are the only life forms to exist in a universe so ridiculously huge with our current laws of physics it shouldn't even exist? Here, let me put it in perspective for you.

You didn't. I was saying that the only logical explanation for God was if it were an alien species, therefore giveing an example of how a human could comprehend another life form. However, I think it's much more likely that God if a figment of the imagination of cavemen. But that's another story. |

Media also uses the claim of E.T:s and flying saucers for money. Many people say that they've been captured by aliens and get rich. Some family in the 1960's or 50's earned much money for claiming aliens had visited them. Also fake UFO pictures are famous in magazines, newspapers etc. Such like bigfoot and the loch ness monster. Btw yeah some have claimed that there has been some kind of bacteria on mars. Don't know if this is true. |

I never said that. Besides, the inconsitencies in beliving in both a God and Aliens are pretty big.
Meh. It's just a thought. I'm not big on God any way, so I don't believe it at all. Have you not heard of the Ancient astronaut theory? It's like scientology, so I'm not a fan of it. Personally I believe in a little thing called evolution. Anyway, i'm done with this thread. It's boring and this has been discussed a billion times. |

Sometimes you make me so sad, Sarah.
What I am doing is leaving the thread. Unless aliens are in the same galaxy, or we manage to travel faster than the speed of light, we ain't going to be seing any. So this thread is pointless. It's also been discussed various times before.

Not another one of these =( Statistics show that, with all the other planets and moons out there, there is most likely other life forms. Take out all those unintelligent life forms, take out all those from a different time from ours, take out all those in a place impossible for us to get to and you're left with a very little probability of us coming into contact with life forms from elsewhere. Do I think we've been visited by Aliens/Flying Saucers? No. |
