Should we not be using AC!D cards?! Went through a phase of using these on a forum I used to use yeaaaaaaaars ago. I only ever made a few, they were kinda inside jokes to a point, trying to use the Ac!d wording so it's probably cringe as fuck. I personally find this thread to be very humorous, and a joy to visit from time to time. Each card is filled with Irony, and actual points. While I've never really got into playing Trading Card Games, Could this become an actual Card Game? (Just saying, it'd make a good addition to Forum Games if most of the members had their own cards, The members who have stuck around long enough at least) (I'm sure someone is smart enough or clever enough to make it work.) (And while the cards are ironic and honest. I think some are a bit negative, just saying.) I said someone smart and clever could. I don't think I'm capable. (All I can think of, is that they be duels between two members. Maybe more, I don't know. And each post, someone lays down there card/member. (Picture must be posted) Those are the basics. But I have very little knowledge of Card Games in general, still they look like fun. Someone should tweak it a little and add to those basic rules. (Cards with special abilities etc. ) (For it to become a possibility though, we need more cards, both accurate and humorous) EDIT: I've come up with more ideas for such a proposed MGSF Trading Card Game. So Far -It will take place between two members only -Each Post a member will place there card down -Picture of Card must be shown for maximum humor in post. (Visual Contact just makes it more real) -Cards will vary from offensive or defensive, special cards etc. (Still not to sure) -little things like equipping weapons or defensive things to ones card in duel. New ones -Something special must happen if the user uses their own card. -While they're are always gonna be classes, each card should have a special abilities. Unsure - How players acquire there cards is a mystery to me. Whether they already have a random set, or must earn cards before the match, (ala Trading) Lets say your card is defeated and gets taken by the opponent. You now have less Character/Member cards obviously. But by default, each dueler has and keeps ability cards at all times. Even if they lose. I'm not sure, something like that. My confidence is iffy in it, with my lack of knowledge in Card Games. I just would want an engaging Forum Game that isn't a word Game. Edited by Dr Strangelove, Jun 29 2013, 12:46:48 AM.

That's not a bad idea. Much more simpler. We would just need a lot more cards. (With that development, we could obviously keep it between two people, or even have teams. Or involve multiple members. I know I'm over thinking it, but a Game needs to be engaging enough to the point where it receives multiple playings. ) |
