So... heres the thing, I am level 14 right now and I find it very easy to maintain this level, I am able to get and maintain level 15 too but I think it brings too much pressure so I am actively trying not to get level 15 again to avoid this pressure. For me 14 is a good level to stay as since it can get you into decent Survival teams but is not difficult to keep. What does everyone else think? |

So... You'd rather be with decent Survival teams than incredible Survival teams...? Alright... I'm level 14 too, but I look forward to improving. |

the higher the better IMO. Yes, higher level = higer preasure but for me it's a motivation to get to the next higher level and stay there. If you're happy with what you've achieved you won't improve since you got no motivation to actually improve. |

I guess I would have to say the "best" level is the highest level, but I'm not sure how high the levels go. I would say the levels I see the most are 11-12, but I'm a level 12 and I tend to go into games that match that. But even then if I just blindly go into a TSNE game the levels are usually 11-13. So what I'm really trying to say is that anyone above level 12 is a non-conformist bastard. |

If you just play survival with Killsalot than a higher GP usually also means a higher lvl since you've got to play good to gain some GPs and if you play good you'll also gain a level. For random games of course only your performance counts. |

I like having fun too much. Sometimes I'll spend all my time sneaking around TDM CQC'ing people then Charm-dancing over their unconscious body until they wake up... or waiting to trigger some C4 or SG satchels in Bases or Cap... this kind of fun comes at a price, and that price is " - - " If I were to start worrying about levels, I'd have to keep running and gunning all stressed out with rifles and grenades... which I don't find as satisfying as dragging an unconscious lvl16 around the place while doing <SONG>, stealing all their weapons and leaving them with a tiny sliver of health before disappearing into the night. This is the kind of thing that makes MGO different, I can do run n' gun in CounterStrike without the ridiculous lag and curiously un-hittable high level players if I really want that kind of gameplay. The only reason I care about my Level is, 1.) For some very stupid reason, many people look at Levels in SURVIVAL/Tournament instead of Grade Points. I have a rather high GP, but still. 2.) It makes me look better. ![]() 3.) I'm trying to hit the same Level as my age. (16) XD |

I bounce between level 8 and 11, but have hit as high as 12. Right now I am stuck at 9, but I would have bumped up to at LEAST 10 tonight if it were not for 3 hours of leavers bailing after getting owned. The last time was a level 12 player whom I owned in a 2 v 2 deathmatch. He bitched about everyone else earlier and then bounced right before the match ended. |

I can maintain 14 pretty easily. WHen you first reach a level it's sorta hard dropping more than one level again ![]() I CAN reach 15, but i quite simply don't deserve it and i feel that. Meh, i guess i'll go rape boosters and get level 16 for the lulz... And yes, that works. Does that make ME a booster?

One thing that annoys me about MGO is that the levels aren't balanced for TDM. Midtown Maelstrom for example, one team gets an archway to use for cover, a van to hide behind, plenty of easy to reach side alleyways, and a ridiculous sniping position on a roof shielded by a metal sign, while the other team has to walk down either a thin alley with no cover other than a few crates, or a wide road with no defense amd a sniper position on the other side. Same thing with that one forest level. One team spawns near several sniper positions located on higher ground, while the other team spawns on all low ground with nothing to use for cover. The only level I find is fair is Ambush Alley cause both teams spawn in similar surroundings. |

Im at level 13 now which is pretty much as good as I'll get I reckon. If I could get higher I would go for it for sure. The higher the better. Although GP means so much more imho. |

level 9 is good because any higher and playing with lower levels they kik you sometimes if the games for lower levels but 9 is high enough to play with games that are full of pro games. btw what is the highest level someone has reached on the game? |

From what I gather, the level is driven from your score in your personal stats page. You get plusses and minuses for games that you begin *and* finish. So, if you come in after a game is started, it does not affect your stats. Likewise, if you bail out during the round, you also don't have your stats updated. Whether you get a plus or minus is affected by how well you perform relative to the competition. Notably, if you play against lower level players you must do extremely well to get a 'plus' or 'double plus'. In fact, I think that if you consistently kill lower level players it affects you negatively. For example, if you are level 6, play against all level 3 opponents, and score 3 kills and 0 deaths in each round you might actually get a 'minus' score. The opposite is also true. It is conceivable that if you are level 6 and play against all level 12 players that you could have 1 kill and 3 deaths and still get a 'plus' score for the round. Capturing bases, placing targets, and passing checkpoints are all very favorable to your level.
