Hi all, Im a big metal gear fan ( my favourite has gotta be the original on PS1!) I signed up here ages ago just before MGS4 came out and was really looking forward to it. Unfortuntaly too much messing about and spending money on cars meant I never got round to buying a PS3, and therefore havn't had a proper chance to play MGS4  . After fixing my snake eater disc tonight I decided to play it again, and have now caught the metal gear bug again so I deffinietly think I'll be out buying a PS3 and MGS4 soon, especially now i've seen there doing a 5th in the series! Cant wait to catch up on the story line, as I enjoy that just as much as playing the game, and after seeing one or two of the cut scenes from MGS4 round a mates house (couldnt believe how long they went on for!!) I think I'll enjoy it! Anyway, enough rambling on, im off to have a search around the forum and crack on with snake eater again until I buy that PS3! Cheers. |

Stopped playing the game a while ago for no real reason really, and just randomly started playing it again tonight so thought it would be a good opportunity to come back here, have a look around and say hello! After not playing in so long I feel useless at it, keep getting seen/alerts etc, oh well just need more practise I suppose! |

Hello everyone, i just joined this forum today after searching the web for a few days to find a good (and active) one and it looks like i found one. I'm a newbie fan of MGS having only recently played and beat MGS2:SOL and MGS3:SE two times a piece and on EASY mode  yes..i'm still a lightweight, but after i get my feel for the game better i will definitely boost it up to NORMAL and so on, so i'm not here to pretend i know everything about the Metal Gear series..i'm here to meet new people who love MGS as much as i do and others who have gone completely insane over how awesomely epic these games are and to learn all i can about MGS. I just can't get enough and can hardly wait to play them all! So far though, "Snake Eater" is my favorite, although i do love "Sons Of Liberty"..but i think the whole bait and switch of having to play Raiden for the second half of the game made that decision for me. Well, i'm really glad to be here and i hope to get a chance to meet all of you.
