Walter Cronkite apparently passed away this July on the 17th...and I didn't hear a fucking thing about it until now.

What the fuck is wrong with you, America?

Yeah, that's why he opposed the invasion of Iraq.

FYI; I didn't create a RIP thread for you to come in and piss allover it, so piss somewhere else, k?

To everyone else, I don't watch Tv, but didn't see it on the front page of the news, which I often see most mornings.

I heard it through the usual net channels, it's odd how that has passed you by.

There was barely anything about it on brit tv but..not like I'd know really.

I don't recall supporting the war in Iraq as a preresqusite for supporting a NWO. Whereas I wouldn't say C64 is completely right, Walter Cronkite did support a world government based on American Imperialism. So he's not the greatest dude in the world.

That's not my point.
I am not really for or against Cronkite, but he was very notable in the media and due to the Jackson ordeal, I didn't see it on a single newspaper cover.

That being said, when I create a RIP thread, it's pretty disrespectful to come in and say "piss on him" and I've had issues with that in the past on MGSF.
If you have nothing nice to say about the person, I understand, but go to another thread.

I understand. My apologies.

i won't deny that the guy is an influential and well known reporter, it's a shame his death was overshadowed by Michael Jackson.
