No, that map isn't in MGO. Just like DLFLux said, you need to get +. Once you get twelve + you get your next level. It's that simple. Of course, if you get - you can get your level down.
Is this true :ninja: ?

No, 12 +'s do not equal a level up. I tested it on my alt. For level 1-2 it was 8 for level 9-10 it was 12. Level 12-13 was 15.

Tested it on my other alt and the figures were completely different which leads me to believe that there are various degrees of + ++ - and —.

I think it depends mostly on what level your facing against (and of course your performance).

the way leveling was explained to me... it doesnt matter the average level of the room... all that matters are the individual players levels and where they place in regards to you at the end of each round by points. If you finish higher than someone with a higher level you gain experience based on how many points you beat them by... the higher level will lose a greater amount of experience... on the other hand if he finishes higher than you, he will gain a smaller amount of experience and you will lose a lesser amount of experience... if you were in a room with a level lower than yours and finished higher you would gain a small amount of experience, and he would lose a small amount, and if he finished higher than you then you would lose a lot of experience and he would gain a lot....

i hope that made SENSE ;)

Personally i found the most easiest (well i say easy) way to level you player is to play against higher level opponents, but of course you have to have a bit about you before you play. I played in rooms which had players up to 7 levels 'better' than me and by no time i was picking up levels left, right and center. Also when playing against better players you pick things up which can make you a better all round player.

At last, i didnt even know the existence of this site, and i thought noone had noticed that expansion pack levels can be played in Automatching, i googled for days, so no worries i dont have to keep this as a top secret konami wanted it to be that way, the only thing that looks bad is that these maps are supossed to be DLC, and i never Dowloaded anything so how come we can play them? maybe in the last update? might be but it also could be that the maps came already with the disk, just like that RE5 Multiplayer thing, i dont know im just speculating here

I've been testing some stuff recently, and i dropped to level 14 just barely (one - that got me from 15 to 14 vs avg 15's). Then i played a lower avg room and got a ++ and next round made sure i got +, still no level.

I leveled to 15 and dropped again.
This time i entered an avg 14 (the level i had then) room and got a ++ and levelled up.
So appearently a "+" doesn't have a set value. Either that or you need more "XP" to level the higher you get~

Ask a booster, they should know

OP wat lobby you play in. If its the beginners lobby then you wont find many players there using the extra maps on the EU server. Im on EU server and tend to play in Meryl because it has less stupid games like 'box level up', 'scan level up' like the other main lobby has. To improve, you will need to be playing against players that are better than you. add me if you want, im —SABRETOOTH— i train you or play a few games if you want.

another reason the 12+ theory confuses me is because when i play survivial, i frequently bounce between level 12 & 14. I might go form level 12-13 with 3 or 4 pluses then with 1 - i drop back to level 12, then 2 + and im level 13 again

I'm willing to bet that only a few people in Konami really knows how it works...
But it obviously takes into account score, position on scoreboard relative to avg level of the lobby, people above you and their level among a ton of other things. It's honestly the most confusing stuff i've ever tried to comprehend :s

Ehh, I have not experienced this...

Even when I got Level 16...
I was 2 pluses away from 15.

But then I got raped in a RESCUE Mission and got a what is believed to be a Triple Minus, causing me to lose my 16, barely.

Got it back with a plus or two in the next round.
