Unzip the directory. PSP can't read/extract compressed archives. The root folder in the PW zip will be a bunch of numbers, extract that to the Game root directory and then get rid of the zip file. Renaming the folder shouldn't cause any corruption to the JP one, not sure about the US one. You don't even have to rename, just extract the folder to the Game directory and you're good to go.

yeah im extracting the file named "NPUH90066" straight to my "game" golder on the PSP. its how i got the JP demo on there. but when i go to check my memory stick on the psp it still has the JP demo but says the new one is a corrupted file

ah i think i figured it out. for some reason when i was extracting it it was putting another psp/game folder IN the game folder, i had to just extract to the removable disk. it works now yay

EDIT: except i dont have 6.20. DOH

yeah only 1 subdirectory can go inside any of the main root folders (game, video, pics, music, browser, psp common etc). If you go 2 deep, it's unusable through the XMB.

Sounds like you're set and just need an upgrade to 6.20.

As a reference, you can save swf, html, txt,php documents in PSP Common, and use a launcher at PSPonme.com to open files through the web browser. I push mine to the limit, I wish there was a PSP general discussion thread. I have 3200 ebooks, ref docs, and flash games/tools on mine.
