I don't really see why we should be generalising gamers in the first place. |

Heliakon: It is a third world country, but a third world country doesn't need to have all of that to be a third world country. In fact, why don't everyone check the events that happened in Argnetina in 2001? It was a fucking chaos, riots all over the city, lots of people fighting the police, a lot of thieves went into groups of like 100, 150 people or more to steal everything from super markets or big places, with the escuse of not having anything to eat, and you could see everyone stealing everything, from fruits to televisions, DVD players and stuff like that. The president of that year, Fernando De La Rua, had to actually be taken out from the government biulding he was in because of all the riots outside wanting to kill him and any policeman who would get in their way. Every person who had a store woke up in the morning fearing maybe that day a lot of those fucking assholes would come to steal everything he had in his store. And when I mean everything is everything, they just would run inside and take anything, the were a lot but a damn lot, I said 150? fuck that, they must have been a lot more. It was a total chaos. And the country hasn't recovered that much since that time, these president, Cristina Kirchner, is one of the worst things that happened to Argentina. The only difference here is that when riots are made against the government, there are groups which suppresses those riots. Sometimes are the police, sometimes are those piqueteros of course illegally. Please, don't only look at Argentina and just think we have a good football team, or that there are some beautiful places, yes that is true but that happens in a damn lot of countries, the problem here are in the cities, that's where it's really really dangerous. And yes to all people, I'm sorry we got that off topic. We'll get on topic now. Edited by Shalaco, Oct 24 2009, 07:29:08 AM.

I read that you are from Bolivia, right? Well, so you might know that Argentinians treat Bolivans really bad. And of course, Chile, compared to Argentina, is the best country in the world. @Orca: I know, i'm not mad with you. |

Mr. Foxhound: you're from Argentina? I didn't know that. Yeah last year I lost 4 cellphones because of those assholes, times I was pointed with a gun, one I had a knife in my throat and 2 guys were on both sides so I couldn't do anything, and the last time two assholes grabbed a friend of mine and put a knife in her throat. That fucking sucks. It's true that when menem was around, the dollar and the pesos had the same value, but you have to know that guy stole millions and millions of pesos, he stole way too much money, and imported almost every very good national company. Menem was just an illusion of being right, the country seemed ok, but it only seemed that way. Btw, I didn't know there was any other argentinian around here, where are you from dude? Haha, no one I know likes any videogame I like (save, COD and the FPS' out there.) I did have one friend who shared the same taste in anime(long-long time ago) and videogames. He was probably a bigger MGS fan than I was. His alias is Adidaas, and he moved to NorCal about 4years ago. |

I agree with you on this. I feel as if i'm passable in looks...but, i'm not looking to hook up, that's not why i came here; i have a bf and he thinks i'm beautiful, so that's good enough for me. But, who really cares..looks are superficial anyway. I'm here to talk to wacky obsessed MGS fans like myself who have a hard core passion for MGS. I really love talking to people (male or female) who are into the same things as i am. And Where i live that's seriously hard to find... btw; i watch complete cut-scenes every single time i play..just can't get enough of the story (besides the reason of really understanding it all completely)..unless i'm at a Boss and have to continue because i got my ass handed to me the first time..then i skip lol..anyone else? |

UPDATE: Here's a picture of me with my favorite MGS game! Yes, I FINALLY found the 2-disc version of Subsistence! (I've always had Snake Eater, but I never had Subsistence until now)![]() In case you're wondering what that "Game Vault" sticker is doing on there, it's a sticker that was on the case at the video store. That's not the Limited Edition. You see, there are three different versions of Subsistence: - The original 2006 printing, cover is green and shows Big Boss saluting, game comes with two discs: Subsistence (which is just the game), and Persistence (which includes bonus features: Metal Gear Online, the 8-bit Metal Gear games, and the Secret Theater, which has some hilarious short cartoons) - The Limited Edition from 2006, cover is red and shows Big Boss silhouette, game comes with the same two discs as the original, plus a bonus disc (Existence) which is the cutscenes of the game made into a movie. It won't play on a DVD player though, it was designed only for the PS2. - The 2008 reprint that comes with the Essentials Collection, cover is white and shows Big Boss, EVA, and The Boss, game comes with only the first disc. In other words, just get the original 2006 print, if you find the 2008 reprint, don't bother. |
