Just a little piece of news that happened locally (this was only like 2 miles from where I live). It made me laugh, so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I don't think that can be really classed as a crash for the tank.

No, it signifies that the driver is still learning how to drive it.

: ( sorry
Pretty sad, but funny. Accidents do happen. Whether it's a forklift or an army tank, people need to train. I just don't see how he crashed the tank like that unless he wasn't paying attention. Looks like negligence. Atleast he didn't crush a car at an intersection.

When I drove taxi, this female driver I knew got hit by a police car. The cop was passing the taxi in the right lane and then quickly pulled a U-turn in front of her and drove over her bumper from the right to left of her car, and then took off. She called or went down to the police station and told the desk officer what happened, how the cop erratically made a dangerous u-turn from the inside of flowing traffic, and damaging/exchanging paint with her taxi. She said the driver of the police car just stood there with his head down nodding yes yes yes the whole time. I think he got suspended or disciplined for leaving the scene because for the next few weeks the cops were pulling us all over for absolutely no reason.

Need a thread to discuss accountability of army and police personnel who break the same laws they enforce, or destroy private property/public infrastructure because they don't know how to drive a tank on public roads, or can't execute a pitt maneuver without sending a suspect spinning into 5-6 other cars or crashing through a fence into a backyard or through a house. Not suggesting military have any authority to police domestic streets, but they do train on them and some can't drive unless it's a lawless highway in Kabul where anything goes.
