If it was to be a more serious batman movie I would steer clear of Jim Carrey XD. But otherwise I havent really got an ideas. One person mentioned that David Tennant would be a good candidate and I have to admit I would like to see the results if the riddler was included and he was to play the part. Infact after some further thought, what villains and/or heroes would you like to see if there is to be another movie?

Carey's version is exactly like the version that was always portrayed in the comics. Eddie Murphy? Johnny Depp? -F*ck both of them. Carey's portrayal was perfect in my mind. The Riddler was always intended to be an insane, loud mouthed, and immense genius. -Carey did all three perfectly.

Well, that possible isn't happening so I'm really for something like The Penguin and The Riddler maybe? Would seem like a pretty cool combination.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker	To be honest, I want one main villain in the next movie. We all know what happened the last time that a Batman franchise started introducing multiple villains.... Batman Forever= Two-Face and Riddler. Not a bad movie, but certainly not as great as the previous films. Batman & Robin= Arnie as Mr.Freeze (the most laughable and ridiculous portrayal ever), Uma Thurman flopped as Poison Ivy, and Bane was included for the sheer f*ck of it, mostly as a retarded henchman. -Henceforth the miserable death of an originally promising franchise. So I'm hoping that they stick to one main villain from now on.

Anyway, if I could pick just one villain to see, and who I know they could totally rock with today's CGI that they never coulda done with Keaton's batman, is Clayface. a longtime favorite of mine. Also, another I would just kill to see (if pulled off quite well) is Harley Quinn, but without a suitable replacement for Ledger's Joker, Harley Quinn doesn't have much of a chance of appearing. @..Liquid..: I heard specifically that the only two characters Chris Nolan absolutely does not want in his movies are Penguin and Robin (an unfounded fear of birds, perhaps?) but yeah Riddler would be cool to see, and as everyone says, Depp is interested in the part. Though, it'd have to rely on the mob factor which the TDK also did, so I don't know really. Riddler would be cool yes.

Penguin, being the twisted politician he is, could take advantage of the turmoil to gain power. And while i'm in this spoiler bubble, let me take this moment to say that following Rachael's death in TDK, this would also be an opportune time for Catwoman to pop up, if Nolan so wanted that to happen

Spoiler: click to toggle i was thinking that, too, that maybe he wasn't supposed to be breathing, yet at the same time it looked pretty labored and deliberate, and they were panning/zooming right over him, so there's no way they could have missed it in the editing if it were a mistake. It obviously was meant to be there.
