I already made a topic like this in the MGS2 forum, but now I decided to make one about MGS3. One time, in the part where you go into the Graininy Gorki lab and disguise yourself as a scientist, I tried looking at what was on the TV they had in there, but then one of the scientists started the Alert phase all because of it. And then I thought, "Dude, WTF? All I did was look at the TV!" Also, on my first playthrough of the game, when I was going through The Sorrow's river, the first few times when he "killed" me, I didn't notice the revival pill in the corner of the screen so I kept hitting "Continue" until, like, the third time, I noticed the revival pill but I clicked the Circle button too fast, so then I FINALLY got it right the fourth time. Another mistake I made on my first playthrough was when I was supposed to put the C3 on the tanks, I got spotted and then I couldn't put the C3 on the tanks, so then I just tranquilized everyone in there. (and every time I play through the game, I always use the tranquilizer on everyone in that part) I've made many other mistakes, but I just can't remember them right now. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who did this  When I started Snake Eater for the first time, every time I tried to sneak up behind a guard to choke him out he would hear my footsteps and go into alert phase. I failed many, many times and I thought that it was impossible to do this until I finally figured out the D-pad was to walk. |

When you go to the Grainy Gorki lab place i couldn't find out how to get inside it after an hour then i noticed i could crawl through the wall. |

Oh yeah! Another mistake I made once: One time, in the part where you have to take EVA to the river, I didn't have any more food to give to her, and I couldn't find any, so when she got hungry, I had to tranquilize her, and then I tried to drag her over a bridge but I ended up dropping her off the edge on accident. LMAO. |

Well, I like EVA though (plus, Big Boss and EVA are my favorite couple in the series), but I always have to tranq. her in that part. |

I couldn't resist just giving Ocelot a quick slice with my survival knife after Snake knocks him out with some CQC... OK, maybe one more slice... Ah hell, let's stab him in the arse repeatedly!!! ... It's not like you have many options besides that couple. I mean, considering we have Otacon dating a murderer, his sister (kinda), and what would, in a sane world, be called a mad scientist (Naomi), and then there's Rose and Raiden's...thing. Come to think of it, Akiba and Meryl seem to be the only ones with a barely normal relationship. Anyways, another funny bit with The Sorrow's river was when I didn't know about the revival pill thing and started going through all the Psycho Mantis-esque cord switchings to see if I could hit Continue and wake back up. I switched the controller, audio cables, memory card,set it to video 2, just let it sit for a few minutes, tried The End trick where I waited a week, and then finally gave up and went to GameFaqs, where my dignity lies to this day. |

Actually, you can find Subsistence (2-disc version) for about $20 or more (I bought the 2-disc version from a video store for only $10 or so), but the Limited Edition is expensive as hell. |
