nope i got all four of those for $8.99 with shipping and handling it came out to $11.99 which is a pretty good deal for them considering how awesome they look if you want quality though you got to check out JTV they are the best ![]() lol no mic it has to do with price fixing and the U.S promoting it's own Rubies instead of the long favored Burmese rubies. There has been alt of stuff going on with rubies as of late actually, scientists have created this new resin that has the same hardness of a real ruby. so people are taking substandard cracked rubies and putting this resin on them to repair them. The process is called fissure filling and if done right it is an acceptable fix. but then you have idiots that will make an entire ruby out of the stuff

hey, this isn't exactly gemstone stuff, but maybe you would know. at the renfest up here, there's a really excellent swordsmith who, a couple years ago, had a knife whose handle was made out of a stone that looked like jade. He said it was called, like, malachi or something... no idea how to spell it (can barely remember how he pronounced it) but i was wondering if you knew what he was talking about. |

ah yeah Malachite mal-la-kite it's a semi precious stone like Lapis, quartz and Amethyst. it's usualy pale green to lime green and it's actually known as poor man's Jade it's usualy found in California and Mexico although quality stuff is hard to come by in certain countries so they'll pay very well for it. |
