Aliens vs Predator Whats everyone thinking of this new title then? From everything i've seen so far its already looking pretty damn brilliant, gorgeous visuals, quite a different twist on the FPS genre and of course some dreamy multiplayer modes. Hope people are as excited as me...[/nerdhardon] |

I'm unsure about this game, although it has amazing pricing for PC right now, pre-orders between 16-18 pounds, tempted to go for it with that price. I haven't really looked into this or been excited about it, I never played the first ones, and this looks like it has a high chance of being a lot of hype over a pretty generic game, I'll wait to hear from some mates who bought it before I take a chance on it, a decent review or two might say me. |

This. I saw some footage of the first ten minites of the Marine campaign, it looked so tense. This isn't your bogstandard FPS. |

I love AvP and I can't wait for this game but apparently there were- or still are, balancing problems, especially with the marines. Thats what I heard a few months ago so hopefully any issues have been sorted out by now. Though I doubt I'll play as the marines when I can slice and dice them instead. |

DO WANT! Just pre-ordered it when I saw that beauty. God I love limited editions these days. Time was when Limited Edition meant a funky metal box. For £50. Then again the 4 extra maps are completely useless to me. |

I simply cannot wait for this game. As a big Alien, Predator and AVP fan, this is the one for me.  Will be buying on release day, without a shadow of a doubt. The gameplay as the Predator looks immense. |

Trophy kills  Even the marine gameplay looks great. They could have copped out and just have it be your standard FPS with Xeno's as swarm enemy and Predator's as Heavy Troopers (a la Killzone 2) but noo, Rebellion have to push the boat out a bit. Not that that's a bad thing. The Alien gameplay looks sick as well. First of 2010's 'must haves' for me. |

Does anybody have any idea about the game's online features? I just cannot find any info on it, in the slightest. The only thing that I know, is that you can do a "Hunt the Predator/Predator hunts you" game type with friends, where one guy controls the Predator and has to take the marines out. It would be pretty sweet if there was some good online play. 'Aliens VS Predators TDM' for example. However seeing as I am yet to read about anything like that, then I assume the game won't have such features. |

But even still, the gametypes don't seem very clear. -I mean, will it have its own community (like COD, MGO etc, etc), or will it purely just have one or two modes where you can hook up with 6 friends? It just all seems so blurry for me, at the moment. Either way though, I'm looking forward to the Predator Hunt gametype. |

Ah yeah I see what you're saying. Info does seem pretty sketchy on that, but by some of the comments in the video it seems there's a strong emphasis on team gameplay (well, for the puny humans at least), which suggests to me at the very least 6 man teams with support for communications. I'm considering picking up the normal edition of the game on PC as well as the Hunter edition on PS3, so I can play the multiplayer. |

Right. A multiplayer demo has just gone on PSN EU Store (and NA I imagine). I've had it for 30 minutes, and it still can't find a game for me to join. I hope that the matchmaking system is better on the full release....
