Does portable ops online use the same account as MGO on ps3 (konami account, not PSN), or does it not require a separate account at all?

MPO/MPO+ share the same login database. I doubt MGO accounts will be valid because MGO Subsistence logins didn't work, but at reg it was described as "already in use"

I dont even think MPO has online support anymore. If it's not dead yet, activity will be at almost zero because everyone uses MP0+ because of enhancements like chat interface, deluxe camo collection, added modes and maps, as well as countless more users who play for elite camo

MPO online service was pretty sketchy. Stick with PS3 or go Plus
Today, a 2000 mile wall between Mexico and the United States is designed to keep people out..... but tomorrow it may be used to actually keep people in.

Try login

MPO+ US has 40-120+ ppl online per day. Many users log into US server from EU

If cheating/statboosting is turning you off of MGO, MPO+ might be no better

Different than ps3 MGO? All I know is the MPO and plus servers are based on the Subsistence Online model. And with Plus they added more user friendly tools, MGO1 maps, options/eggs, and 400-500hp support

The concept of MPO+ is to collect camo soldiers in RC mode. Its like collecting trading cards except they are playable in battle on/offline
