Oh well obviously Roy has too. I'm basing what I say off of reviews made by an impartial game magaazine who have played the game. So yeah, I think my call is more factual than Roy's, which ia based off of nothing. |

If this game is 30-50 hours long, I'll eat my hat. And I wont complete it because i'd get bored way before then. It might be that long, but I don't personally think it will be, based on previous MGS games which were like 15 hours maximum. Do you honestly believe they've been developing this game long enough to double that time? Unlikely. |

theres no way the story mode is gonna be 30-50 hours, which is what i think roy is saying? hell, id put mgs2 and 3 at about 20 hours each...even going slow i could beat the story mode in about 8 hours, and a second playthrough to beat everything, and then the extra modes....PW looks to have alot of extra modes though |

i find it doutbful that there will be 30 hours gameplay, but my first run of MGS4 was 15 hours and that was all cutscenes, so if this game can reach 20 hours gameplay not including cutscenes and replayability for ranks i will be very happy |

Uh guys... Famitsu (I think) played it, I should link but I'm pretty sure that they played around 70 hours (one playthrough) on average. So uh... yeah, and.... yeah. Edited by hukibeast, Apr 17 2010, 03:26:15 AM.

Ah. Ive found the proof of the cutscene time. I, for one, am a fan of the more extended cutscenes, as long as gameplay time and interest isn't sacrificed for it, along with the cutscenes obviously including necessary plot revelations. Something like Snake Eater, I suppose. I can't help but think "162m 34s" is SLIGHTLY short considering the amount of gameplay time apparently on offer. But I suppose with a portable console title with as much added content and extras throughout the game such as this, the cutscenes are long and short enough to develop the plot sufficiently. |

I think 3 hours should suffice. I feel like if it's balanced out well enough, then it should create a great balance between cutscene and gameplay. |
