off subject. I've been playing the shit out of Splinter Cell Conviction. Great game, lots of fun. It's short as hell though, it's probably the same lenght mgs4 is in terms of gameplay, but atleast mgs4 has the cutscenes which makes the game around 9 hours longer

But it's awesome, been playing Deniable Ops a whole lot

Wait, THAT's OUT?!
Has the AI been improved over the demo?
Is there actual stealth involved this time?
Do bullets not phase through solid objects to hit a marked target, like in the demo?
I'm sorry for being a cunt.

It's not out, but it leaked online, and since I have a flashed 360 I'm able to play it.

Yeah AI is better, and yes stealth is possible, wtf it was possible in the demo too.

The game does throw a bunch of enemies at you during 2 times through the story, maybe it's more but those are situations where you can't sneak past them, well maybe you can but I'm not good enough to do it atleast.

I found the game to be hard on Rookie, lol not that hard but it's not super easy either but I play pure stealth I hate getting into a gun battle, same goes for all the mgs games.

Dude, COME ON.

There's no piracy on this forum, the rules are pretty damn clear. Stop discussing it.

Stay on topic or take a hike please. SC: Conviction has nothing to do with whether you think PW will be a good game or not.

I'm not asking anybody to do anything related to piracy, I'm just saying I have a flashed 360 which I burn games on.

That's not guiding anyone to anything, I'm perfectly allowed to state such a thing.

Anyways, as Null said we're getting off topic

The only thing about this post that has any sense is the controls, which they could have solved by just going with a MGS2-style camera/gameplay setup. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of bitching for no reason.

The problem with the PSP is that there's only ONE thumbstick. They didn't even add it to the PSP GO. Having to control the camera with the buttons really sucks.

I think PW is going to be epic. Bottom line. And wtf were they thinking only having one analog stick!? Why hasn't this been remedied?

I think PW is probably going to be quite a good game. And as soon as I get my license, I might see Jodi Benson to see if she's Suzetta Minet.

Anyways, something else I want cleared up, your comment about the controls reminded me of something:

JohnKiller118, the next time you try to ***** about MPO's control schemes, can you at least try to remember that the only reason why the controls stank in MPO was because the PSP's controls had little to go by compared to the other MGS games? I know you hate that game with a passion, but can you at least try to remember that?

Yeah. Crawling was useful. but we get to move while crouching!! I think it's better than crawling and besides, it's good to change bits of gameplay from time to time.

Doesn't change the fact that they make the game unplayable.

Am I supposed to forgive it's flaws, just because its a PSP game with limited controls? Using that logic, I should forgive StarCraft 64's bad controls, because of the limited amount of buttons (and poor design) of the N64 controller, even though the limited controls makes the game unplayab, especially when compared to StarCraft on PC.

It was a cheap port of Subsistence, not a game built for the PSP like what was promised. Peace Walker is more like what MPO could have been.

First off, I wasn't trying to ask you to forgive it of all of it's flaws. I was just asking you to not act vehement towards MPO for it's controls, especially seeing how MPW also has it's controls as well.

Secondly, it's not a Subsistence port. If it were a port, I'm pretty sure that it would have the exact same plot as Metal Gear Solid 3, along with a Secret Theater and other things. You want a port, try looking at Master Quest in the OoT bonus disc. Sorry, but I take those words literally and seriously.

Jesus Christ, I meant the damn engine! They ported an engine built for the PS2 to a system that would make it run like shit.

Shouldn't the fact that PW's controls were better than MPO's add even more reason to dislike MPO? Since PW has obviously shown that it's possible to get good controls on the PSP.
I'm sorry for being a cunt.
