MGS Peace Walker has been confirmed to be supported with additional DLC (Downloadable Content) in the future. No further details have been announced, so the new content could be costumes, songs, soldiers, more extra ops missions, weapons or all of them - there are a lot of possibilities. It is also not confirmed whether the DLC will be free or priced. Source: Kojima Productions Report #116 ___ Yay! Good news. There is an immense amount of content in Peace Walker already so I'm excited to hear at the prospect of more. Anything would be good, due to the design of Peace Walker I strongly suspect all of the above to be honest. My view on DLC varies. Fallout 3 had some fantastic DLC whilst I wouldn't be seen dead with Modern Warfare 2 stimulus pack, which is utterly overpriced garbage. Hopefully we'll see some quality stuff and my hopes are high. |

Brother, rejoice! We're not copies of our father, after all!

i want an expansion for liquid ocelot with gun of the patriots! And when ocelot hits big boss he screams "BOSSS". Then big boss will give him a head shot and ocelot will say "youre pretty good!" *-*

I'm becoming sick to death of DLC, but, for once, I can see it being actual DLC. They were saying they had to cut a lot from the full game itself, hopefully we'll get a lot of that back in DLC, I'd be well chuffed with that. Nice find Granin too. |

Cheers. Normally DLC peeves me too. I always think (Assassins Creed II for example); "you basically sold us an incomplete version of the game that was rushed, and now you're making us pay for the full game for £10 extra?". Or in the case of MW2; "you want me to pay for something I already bought a year ago and a little bit extra, for £11?!" But in the case of games like Fallout 3 and Peace Walker, I'm fine with it. They are very expansive and long games as it is (Fallout 3 is an RPG, but still) and you can see that the game is a proper title, that's been packed with stuff. Then, I'd gladly pay for extra, not stuff that should have been there anyway and stuff I've already payed for. But even if the game is vast, it has to be a good DLC for me to buy it. Even some DLC for Fallout was a little bit "really? it's over already?". |

My money is on either more costumes or Infrastructure, or possibly even more Extra Ops. My hope is the same kind of ops that MGA2 had, rematches with old bosses like how MGA2 brought out the battles with Liquid, Ocelot, Vamp, Fortune, The End, The Boss and Teliko. Either way, good to see there's more goodies to look forward to.
That's about as realistic as Dr. Cox making a guest appearance in MGS Rising. Edited by Doakes, May 13 2010, 11:11:20 PM.

Yeah, I've kind of gone on a rant lately about DLC. Red Dead Redemption has a limited edition that has only DLC in it, 3/4 of which can be obtained later in-game. Plus they're releasing a co-op mode via PSN/XBL a month after the game has been released. First pack is free, but why is it not on the game in the first place? I'd say about 80% of all DLC released is already on the disk but companies just want to keep getting their jollies this way but I'm not buying that shit anymore. AC2 was a massive disappointment as you said, I can live without the unnecessary chapters and missions. |

Actually BigK I think additional music is the most likely following the trend of MGS4. But my money is on so much stuff really as PW has such a varied content base, most of which lends itself to having additional content added. |

FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Fuck DLC. Here's an idea, put it in the original game or give it to us for free if you're gonna release an unfinished game. Although by the sounds of it (costumes and that) this is all just useless shit I don't care about anyway. |
