Skipped a few posts so to quote Naked Snake, "Enlighten me." Is the DLC already going to be on the UMD or downloaded or not confirmed? Because my main gripe is that PSP's already have a limited memory capacity (based on your card size obviously) and with the game already requiring a 350mb (roughly) data install then putting any DLC on top of that is going to seriously chew some space. Unless the data install is optional, I have no idea I can't read japanese but either way, space man. |

It's unconfirmed whether it's UMD or Download. The Data Install is optional. |

Actually, my "Screw you" was originally meant to be playfull, though since everyone seems to have a stick up their ass (see; EK), I had to change it for their benefit. I actually thought I was being pretty fair. @Wayno: It's not confirmed to be on the UMD, though most likely it isn't. The data install, however, is optional. |

Has there EVER actually been a UMD expansion? AND before anyone mentions Ops +: FUCK YOU. It was an online backwards compatible sequel with no story in which you could carry over characters. A real addon adds additional features to an existing game. Ops + was it's own game. |

How are people arguing about a DLC being confirmed? |

Should be on the disc to start with but I'll see the value of it when it comes out. |

I think I pretty much cleared up what was confirmed and what was not in the first post. |

Oh so true about the stimulus package, but thats activision abusing Modern Warfare's position as the shooter of choice across platforms. Konami's pricing plans were always fair enough in my eyes, its how badly they handle online gaming thats their downfall. Imagine having to sign up for another Konami Online ID to get access to the DLC. MGO was hassle enough, nd iv forgotten that ID completely. |

@Sor: There's a difference between paying for a service and paying for content they deliberately left out in order to get more money.

There I did it, smart ass. It's called a mistake. But back to the subject. I feel like even though I want the maps that would come with it, I just don't see why they couldn't come with the disc and they could just get rid of that stupid Monster Hunter part of the game, and put the additional maps in there that they had to begin with. I just don't get why the Monster Hunter thing is necessary even if it is a fun little side quest thing, I'd rather have straight up extra maps that would just be included with the game. Better yet, they should have just made the Monster Hunter stuff DLC. I don't know, I'm really iffy on DLC. I like some of it, but I feel that a lot of it is just stupid shit that the developers make in order to whore out the product a little more. My buddy got the stimulus pack for MW2 and it's totally overpriced. And it's not even that heavy in content and features two maps that I already have for COD4. There's no reason to get it. Some of it is cool though, like the Fallout 3 stuff you guys are talking about seems awesome. But the ACII stuff was kind of a waste. Didn't feel like it justified a purchase to me and I just bought it because I loved the game so much. I feel like all the extra characters and costumes that PW is putting into DLC is kind of like the Stimulus pack and the ACII DLC. Just not worth it. Edited by TwistedSnake, May 17 2010, 02:16:14 AM.

We have arrived.
|
@TwistedSnake: I wouldn't be so sure it's going to be multiplayer DLC and such. Kojima said that a lot had to be left out of the main game itself due to the UMD size so I'm thinking (or at least hoping) that this DLC will probably be something like more areas to explore, more missions, maybe more weapons, and such. |
