Thisss, I don't know if he would have fucked him up like that, The Governor was fucking epic too and really smart, but it would have been a nice fight to see. To be honest, I think Shane would've agreed with Merle when Merle wanted to go kill the Governor the first time, you know, when Rick and him got together to talk. That'd have been the smartest thing to do, besides I think no one else knew where the prison was but Andrea. If they'd have done that, they could've killed both Martinez and the Governor, and I think Shane would have gone with that. The good thing about Shane is that he had the guts to do anything to protect his people, no matter how fucked up, and that kid they captured... he saved the group by killing him. He did a lot for the group really, awesome character, not to mention he trained everyone. And the most popular series will always be the simpsons, no question about that. Talk about one of the most anticlimactic and disappointing endings. The producers hyped this up yet again, and it failed to deliver. |

I enjoyed most of the episode, but the ending felt like something you see in a regular episode during a season. |

I've heard that. That wasn't how a season should end. I'd rather have had the Lizzie and Mika episode be the finale. |

The biggest problem I have with the ending is that essentially the whole second half was a big lead up to the finale. Then it ends with a cliffhanger (and a weak one at that). |

I think some stuff was ridiculous, like how the group reacted. We got some of the most experienced characters when it comes to a battle, maybe excepting CArl but still he's become really good, and they were running in circles like amateurs, didn't find cover at any point, and Rick could have reacted in a different place.. maybe inside a building, I mean they had snipers everywhere for god's sake, they could've shot down Carl at any time, even more when they were running around like idiots... That shooting was ridiculous. And I'm loving that theory about Beth being the one in the BBQ. I mean I like her character... but the fact that this series doesn't care about being kind of wild about the characters is something I really like, even though it's becoming really popualr, they're not softing the series at all. |

Beth still has some potential to draw out some heavy development from others imo, especially now that a bond with Daryl has been established. I definitely think she can be a stand out character of her own, but with cast continuing to grow bigger and bigger, I doubt that'll ever happen. I didn't think the finale was all that bad. But I still wouldn't say it was worthy of a finale. |

I totally agree with you. The Walking Dead was never a GREAT show, but it was worth watching. The way it is now, it reminds me of Dexter too (altough dexter had one of the best 1st season to a tv show , in my opinion) The way things are right now just makes me wonder why do i even keep watching it. The Directors seem to treat the viewers like retards with bad dialogue and poor character development (apart from some good episodes, like the one with the Governor, mid-season). This show had huge potential with a lot of good stories to be told, but instead of focusing on the questions of " how did all of this begin?" "what can we do to end it? " they just keep on insisting with the same old problems in each season- the apocalypse makes people do bad things-. Plus, it's becoming a very dumb show since 80% os the time they just focus on bashing zombies heads (it's a zombie apocalypse, we need that in the show, but not to te point of getting ridiculous). This show would be so much better if they started focusing more on the people involved and their stories instead of giving up free violence just because it looks "cool" and sells. |

I find that hysterical being that when they do have episodes where nothing happens (such as the one where the Governor shows up at Tara's house) to focus more on story telling and character development, people bitch and cry because their is no action. |

You wouldn't be hearing me bitch and cry about that, that's for sure. To me that was one of the best episodes. Well that doesn't surprise me one bit since the typical fan of The Walking Dead is easily amused with knives going through skulls and that's it. Make it hapen for 45 minutes and a great episode is done. Just take a look at the social network of the show and the comments of the "fans" and you'll know what i mean. There was actually one guy who truly believed the Walking Dead was better than Breaking Bad, because Breaking Bad was just "Boring". So yeah, That says a lot about what the "fans" want Edited by _se7en_, Apr 2 2014, 08:59:46 PM.

I enjoy this show immensely. I like how the story has been progressing and how each season focuses on some new development. I like the action just as much as I like the story telling and I do find the characters engaging. Now, I don't ignore the faults, but I don't think they outweigh the good and I certainly don't subscribe to the asinine shite people present as reasons why the show is apparently so terrible. |

Well i never said the show was terrible, i only said that it had huge potential and it failed to deliver for the reasons i presented, but of course that's a matter of perspective and differs considering one's opinion. |
