I'm inclined to disagree, honestly. And as for focusing on "how did this all happen", they really have no way of going about figuring that out and I think it would take away from the mystery. They NEVER reveal how zombie outbreaks begin. |

So as I'm currently rewatching the show, they really did an injustice killing off: Spoiler: click to toggle No secret the show has declined. To me, it's only certain parts though. The first season was spectacular. Every episode was enjoyable, but there were a few brief moments that lacked enthusiasm. The second season was limited by budget, thus much progression didn't occur. However, the relationships were and they were surprisingly enjoyable. If you subtract Lori's issues, then this season was great. The progression is the downfall, for lots of fans want a steady incline. From my perspective, the gradual flow made it more significant because the build-up always delivered. The third season conveyed itself as promising. It initiated with lots of action, interesting concepts, and surprising deaths. Unfortunately, the second half of the season faulted. It had some good moments, but they were sharing time with episode fillers and lousy writing. The fourth season I'm indecisive on. At first, I heavily disliked it. Then after rewatching it, I grew away from that. It certainly has its flaws, but it's a decent season overall. Can't imagine how the show would be if Darabont were still involved. Significantly better, I'd presume. But there's no denying the original magic has ceased to exist. Blame it on fan expectations, new developers, and big-budget. |

I'm a huge fan of the comic/show but I'm not digging this spinoff. Haven't seen the third episode yet though. The characters are dumb and not interesting enough for a show striving so much for characterization and story. |

Just binged watched it. The cinematography is already miles ahead of The Walking Dead. I'm loving the actors here, although the blonde mother is the only one of the cast that doesn't feel so committed to her role in all honesty. The atmosphere is awesome and the music selection is awesome. Even the damn opening show title/ music montage is more attractive than the original. I'm digging it so far and it's got serious potential. I'm already getting to the point of questioning myself as to why I've been enduring The Walking Dead since Shane was killed off. |

Because Shane was a dick. But I gotta say, FTWD's cinematography gives me a fucking hard on. It's so good. |

Shane was a dick but he made the show interesting. It was still good after with the exception of a few parts (like first half of season 4 which almost made me drop the show, but then the 2nd half was amazing). But I find Rick's transformation interesting right now, and I wonder how he and Morgan would get along.

FTWD music better than the original? No way. That original theme is beautiful! I do think the show has some beautiful cinematography (HD helps too). But idk, I guess it's just moving too slow for me. The first episode was literally the most boring TWD episode I've ever seen. Which using words like slow and boring are ironic when it pertains to TWD. |

That crazy noise they use instead of an intro song has really grown on me, I think it sounds awesome now. The show is picking up but it had an awefully slow start. Plenty of characters to develop and it seems like they want all these characters to be unlikeable as they constantly do stupid and messed up things to eachother. |

The intro noise is fucking bitching. I really dig it. But the original theme does give me a nostalgia hard-on. |

It's most definitely worth it so far, but thats just my own opinion. The direction and the way it builds suspense feels far more advanced than TWD's techniques and I've only watched 4 episodes. Also also, about to watch the most recent episode but wanted to make sure about something about the last one: Episode 4 spoiler |
