I don't understand, when Strangelove interrogated Snake about the information of the BOss' defection, why did he kept saying that he doesn't know ? He kept on saying that she betrayed her country and him. Didn't EVA already explained it to him through the tape at the end of MGS3 ? Or is he just trying to hide it ? This has been bothering me for quite a while now. |

Strangelove wanted to know what EVA told Snake about the Boss's mission, but the Boss only wanted EVA and Snake to know, plus it's vital information for the peace walker project. |

Not to mention that Big Boss already was regaining some doubts about EVA's account of The Boss's sacrifice after his encounter with Strangelove, beginning to realize that it may have been part of the coverstory that the CIA made up. |

plus, comments from Gene just confuse things. I think its safe to say that things aren't really 'clear' in the Truth behind the Boss department. |

I think that even though snake knew, he didn't want to admit to himself that the Boss was loyal, it was easier for him to keep saying she was a traitor, so that the guilt was easier to bear. |

Actually, he did mention to Miller that he was wondering what The Boss felt about dying and all that stuff after the Chrysalis battle and apparently EVA's debriefing, indicating that he was at least willing to admit that he killed her to Miller. In fact, the only time he even tells Miller she betrayed him was AFTER Peace Walker sacrificed itself. |
