Extra Ops 69 Help; Much harder than LAV G

Hi,
I'm trying to capture the BTR-60 in the Extra Ops 69 mission. But I'm struggling with it. This one has way more troop reinforcements than the LAV G so Fulton is out of the question. Shooting them with an assualt rifle or machine gun is difficult(not enough ammo for all of them or I just get killed by either the vheicle or the troops) and it doesn't do much damage to the APC's health. The RPG seems quite weak against the fuel tanks so I end up destroying it by mistake instead of just blowing up the tanks and weakening it. Grenades are pretty useless since it takes like three or four to take away one health bar from the vehicle. Is there a good strategy for this Op?

Have you got the carl gustav fulton rocket and the fulton mines? if so you should have enough, i think. if you don't have the gustav, you should be able to fulton them all except three - knock these out and drag them into the path of the BTR. They'll get killed but it won't register as a kill by you.

To be honest though, if you ain't got the fulton rocket and the bandana, i'd just grab your best machine gun and rocket launchers and go all-out. you're probably gonna have to come back anyway with said equipment to S-rank it.

Forget about killing, go with the Sneaking Suit behind the truck, hold up the soldiers, fulton them. Then stick behind it, you haven't been spotted yet supposedly. When he is about to call for backup, throw a smoke to its left side and stun the soldiers with CQC or the Knife. When you run out of fultons, execute the soldiers while they are on the ground. Easy battle.

Well I've managed to do it somehow and it wasn't using the sneaking suit or the Fulton rockets since I don't have those yet.
Initially I was using rocket launchers and the Mk.23 against it which was ineffective since I had nothing to take care of the soldiers with and the Mk.23 was too innacurate against the tank commanders machine gun shield.
So I ended up using the M60 and the Mosin Nagant. I killed the soldiers as they came with the M60 and whittled away the tank's health with it too(taking out fuel tanks in the process). Used the shed for cover and set up four supply markers at a time for extra ammo and rations and used plenty of extra health items like chips and spicy curry :) Most of the time the supply markers had M60 ammo so I never ran out and when the commander popped the hatch I took out the Mosin Nagant and headshotted him 3 times.

if your just looking to capture the vehicle, bring an armor piercing machine gun, and two rocket launchers, along with supply markers, headshot all the escorts, then start picking away at the vehicle with your rockets, with all the supply markers saved from using your AP machine gun on the escorts you won't have to use all of them, after the commander pops out let him eat a rocket and the vehicle is yours.

There's only one flaw with that plan in that I can't carry more than two weapons.
