Why couldn't this game just be in PS3? They would make a lot more and I'm sure more fans would like it.
It's because the PSP is a lot more popular in Japan especially among young gamers and Kojima wanted to make a MGS game to bring in younger fans. He also apparently doesn't like developing HD games, and PW would be completely different if it was on PS3. It's specifically designed to be a portable game.

I'll probably check the story out on YT. Not worth buying a PSP imo.

It's a good ol' game. But why, oh why couldn't it have had infrastructure mode? I would play it so much more if i could play it co-op.

If you are thinking about getting peace walker, it is worth taking this into account. Of course you can download Ad-hoc party for your PS3. This will allow distant multiplayer, if it works.

I was wondering about this question too since I don't have a PSP myself but my brother does.

I saw some of the Peace Walker walkthroughs on youtube and it seemed the enemy guards
are EXTREMELY nearsighted and deaf...

Was the youtube player playing on EASY or is the PeaceWalker AI no good on HARD/EXTREME either ?

PW doesn't have a difficulty setting but each levels have a different level of difficulty.

If you want to try out PW, you can download the PW demo from PSN.

On my opinion you can spend some time on the game, considering it has alot of features, missions to play, certainly people who wouldn't like peace walker and say it's boring i doubt anything would suit them for psp due to most of them not even ranging with long storylines ir game modes ^_^

The only real bad thing about Peace Walker is that the sneaking is ridiculously easy. The supposed hardest sneaking mission in the game (Exo 50 I think) I completed first time, S rank and I deliberatly wasn't using the MkII by that point because the game got too easy. Boss and vehicle fights on the other hand are difficult, sometimes stupidly hard. Although the game can be easy (people complain than you can MkII your way through the whole game) you can simply CHOOSE to make the game harder. PW offers a much greater level of customisation than any other MGS. Put on the battle suit and use no weapons, then try and sneak through the hard missions.

Your definitely right about the sneaking being incredibly easy, the sneaking suit makes it too easy.
Some of the boss fights are definitely quite difficult!
I having a lot of trouble with Ex Ops 121...I just can't do it :hmm:
