hi guys, yesterday I bought the peace walker and I'm having some doubts:
1: Can I make my soldiers go on missions with me, more in offline mode?
2: Do you have a fairly easy tactic to defeat a tank? that appears in the bananal

BOOM!!!
1) Nope. You can, though, use them in missions instead of Snake.

2) Yup, my old tactic was to take them out from the distance, all 4 of them. In my case, put them to sleep. If you kill them, you won't have to do this, but if you put them to sleep, you will have to recover the bodies with the Fulton Recovery. Once you are done with the first 4, rush over the tank's back and wait until it deploys soldiers, then go there and CQC them 4, use the chain of CQC to make it faster. Once everyone's down, you will have to damage the tank a couple of times to make the Leader pop out.

Or the other tactic, which is not getting seen during the whole battle, but for that you will need to go to the right side, get in the house and leave through the otherside to appear behind the soldiers, take them down there, then hide and wait until more are deployed, then take then down. If you do so, you will spare the necessity of damaging the tank before the Leader comes out. There are videos of this tactic, stick to it if you want to easily succeed in the subsequent missions.

What Mr. Foxhound said!

My tactic's a little different though. I go up the hill on the left side, and wait behind the lumber until I can see the tank's 2 right soldiers. Then I put the rear guard to sleep. Always the rear guard, since the front will just be woken up by the rear, obviously. So as quickly as I can, I shoot the rear then the front. Then I make my way down the hill, and then I take out the tank's left soldiers, with the Hush Puppy as well(sounds cooler than Mk .22 ^_^ ).

From there I've been messing up a lot. He calls backup, and I'm seen by them, every time.
So I take them out with Auto Aiming the Hush Puppy or covering me and them in a smoke grenade. Smoke grenades help a lot if you get into a pinch and need to take them all out soon, but the chained CQC moves won't work because they're too far away from eachother or outside of the smoke cloud.

Other than that, I'd also like to say that if you, "lay flat on yer belly, like a snake," you can recover health. I used the shed Mr. Foxhound was talking about for recovering health.

Oh, and my ideal arsenal would include:
Grenades
The Hush Puppy(is it catching on yet?)
Smoke grenades
Fulton Recovery packs
Rations
and a nice damage dealing weapon.

Yeah! I forgot about recovering health. Thanks to it, I didn't use a single ration in the entire game, even in the Extra Ops, not even one ration at all.

Also, to improve your arsenal and if you are planning to go raw, try to carry the Shield, it can do magic for you.

I ain't even mad...Bro.

I'm actually somewhat new to this, I've had Peace Walker for 4 days, I've completed it and now I want to get S-Ranks on all the missions, so I'll probably have to go back and do them all again but do it a bit different, however on the first run through, I just went guns blazing... :)

All I did to get through the Vehicle battles was grab an RPG2, M60 (Just incase), Supply Marker and all the health I could carry.

I used the RPG2 to take out the guards with the vehicles and when they stopped coming, I fired about 1 or 2 rockets at the tank which made the Captain pop out, then fired off another rocket at him which took him out instantly and voila...you got yourself a tank. :)

Unless of course your planning on going in silently, in which case Mr. Foxhound and Lightning in the Rain's tactic would be much better.
Infact I'm actually going to use their tactics to try and get an S-Rank.

Thanks guys! :)

(Just realised I'm pretty late with this, Hahaha!)
