Anyone who is skinny or slim has a 'six pack' to a certain extent, althought its not really a six pack. If you have no fat around your abs then its likely you'll be able to see the muscles. Everyone seems to think they have a six pack these days when they just don't. I'm not saying you don't, i'm just saying. Also muscles and fitness isnt everything, i have fought people who are more physically fit than me and it didn't help them much

Fair enough, that encompasses about 40% of being a good soldier, if that. I'll never be a soldier, but I like to think I understand the mentality of them. And not to call you one, but gym jockeys wouldn't really fit in a real fighting unit. I'm not sure if you are obnoxious, or whether you think you are saving our lives and doing some real good, as Orca^ said, the knowledge is sound, if not a bit too pressured and emphasised, but you stick out as elitist in some regards, intentional or not. |

I'm holding on to what I haven't got

A guide is not needed to lose weight, just if you want to be buffed. Common sense, self honesty and motivation can make everyone lose weight. People buy and read guides to feel better without actually doing anything. |

Exercise is pretty simple to do, eating less is easy in concept, just need to keep your head on with it. |

I don't even try. Why would I?

Shyne is right there. But the food thing is weird. It can be easy and it can be extremely difficult. I used to be very tubby, then decided to work out and change a bit of my diet. I lost a lot of fat, not weight. No one wants to lose weight they want to lose fat. Overnight I stopped eating crisps and having fizzy drinks. Just like that. I have lapsed here and there, but in the last two and a half years I've eaten less than 10 packets of crisps and (not including going out and getting drunk) 3 2l bottles worth of carbonated drinks. Might not sound impressive but for the way I was I reckon it is. But chocolate, I gave that up but I lapsed so easily on this one and I don't know why. I substituted fizzy drinks with either milk, fresh orange or water, crisps I just upped my intake of fruit, but I think it;s because I have a killer sweet tooth I still cannot completely drop chocolate. A lot of it is subconcious habbits. Recently changed a bit of my diet again to help drop a bit more goo. One thing I noticed is when I go to the kitchen I automatically check the fridge and cupboards. Even when I'm not hungry. There is no guide for changing these habits, it's just self discipline. Don't think the first two paragraphs were entirely necessary there but hey ho. |

Haha man nice one. Yeah I haunt the fridge, used to get bored and just go look in it for something. And wow, nice job with the crisps, I have a bag a day for lunch at work. And a Pepsi Max. Feel pretty bad for that now

Yeah i gave up eating crisps a few years ago. I realised that i didn't even really enjoy them that much. As for chocolate, i don't really care about it and therefore barely eat it. I am suprised no one has mention cigarettes , gotta love a bit of Marlboro! The one thing i could never give up is Peanut Butter, love that shit

I can never be at a gym for more then 30 minutes. I always get bored really quick in which later I don't come back for more then a enough. Gotta pick up the slack. |
![]() Jack, listen to me. We're all born with an expiration date. No one lasts forever. Life is nothing but a grace period - for turning our genetic material into the next generation. The data of life is transferred from parent to child. That's how it works. But we have no heirs, no legacy. Cloned from our father, with the ability to reproduce conveniently engineered out. What is our legacy if we cannot pass the torch? Proof of our existence - a mark of some sort. When the torch is passed on from parent to child... it extends beyond DNA; information is imparted as well. All I want is to be remembered. By other people, by history. - Soildus Snake Best MGS Game Ever

photo 1 photo 2 photo 3 photo 4 and I don't do shit to be honest, I train yes but there's really no secret, move your ass from the chair and train a sport or something like that, go to the gym but go for a good time. Eat well, don't eat a lot of shit that's all. It's not like you can't ever hit a mcdonalds. And I've never taken anything like creatine or stuff to help you have more adrenaline. Nothing, ever. Some places are great at working out where they practice martial arts, I trained tang soo do for like 10 years, among other stuff like boxing, and I'm currently trainign kick boxing and full contact. Just keep training, but I haven't done anything for the past 3 weeks really and I'm the same. If you just don't eat shit all the time, you won't lose your body condition for some time. Now if you simply don't do anything for like 4 months or so (my point being, a long time), there you will start to lose a lot of conditions. It's not like you have to follow everything perfectly, but you gotta be constant with your training. Or you could skip all that and do as Kalash says. EDIT: About the food thing, the whole eat less and workout more, is a bunch of crap, because your body is used to have an amount of proteins and stuff, which give you strenght to do the workout. If you don't eat properly, your performance won't be better. You must eat, and if you actually feel more hungry than usual, eat. Properly, but eat. If you don't it will only cause the training to not be as effective. I can go to the gym and train for 2 hours, then come home and only have let's say 5 hot dogs for dinner, then go to sleep. it's almost the same as not training. I sort of still have a terrible tendency of waking up at 2 or 3am, walking over to the kitchen looking for something to drink, only to find something to eat as well. Sometimes I drink soda that early in the morning, go to sleep, wake up and feel like shit. Yeah, it's an annoying problem. Last time I did it was.....yesterday night actually..lol. I'm gonna try and stop. It's not a very healthy habit at all.... >.> |

The Boss to Surpass Big Boss

Good to know. ![]() My mom always gets mad at me...she says I make a mess in the kitchen because I spill stuff......lol One of my few goals in life is to look like this when I'm in my early 20s-mid 20s. ![]() ![]() I feel that I'm too young to look like that right now, so I don't push myself hard enough to try...yet anyway. In my opinion, that's the perfect shape to be in. Definitely not to big, definitely not skinny, but a perfect balance with a lot of strength and endurance. I've always I'd admired JCVD as an actor too. Watched Kickboxer last night again, for the second time in like 10 years. Great movie... |
