Yeah, but just to accommodate the shorter barrel. Also I do believe they use certain lighter parts in the M4. And the M4A1 is officially the M16M4, but due to the fact that it spawned a whole new family, the one used is generally called the M4A1, because it's the first officially adopted version. Bushmaster has made the M4A2 and A3 serving currently with over 60 nations. The A3 has light parts, the forward grip is the same, but it has a 16 inch barrel (The M16 has a 20), and consequently, a different piston.
M-16A4 is just an A2 with a RIS and a flat top receiver

How about the SCAR family? That's a pretty solid gun. The P90 too. I took the S90 to the range, wonderful weapon.

You boys need a L1A1 SLR.

Amazing, iconic, and hard hitting rifle. Beauty.

No! The L1A1 'inch pattern' version designed by the Brits.

The L1A1 SLR, how do people not know about this weapon, it was the feared weapon of Brit infantry for around 30 years.

Yeah, the I know it. I have this huge book called the Encyclopedia of Rifles and Machine Guns, it's in it. I must say, they really outdid themselves in terms of quality. At least it wasn't a stupid copy like China does every five minutes. But I must say, the L85A1 is cooler.

My army adopted it too. In fact we're one of only two countries that use the fully automatic variant; the L2A1, along side Australia.

Ah, America's hat. That means they can plot evil while the US isn't aware. And just to please you, I find the C7 and C8 amusing weapons.

Yeah man. Oh the SA80, decent kit, more practical. But I just love the SLR, so badass, and a remnant of the British Empire. Meant business.

Phasing out now to the L129A1 - sharpshooter rifle. Coming back to a very similar semi auto, 7.62mm, 20 mag rifle. Full circle, cause it was awesome. This pleases me :]

Whats funny about C7/C8, just had a look, another M16 variant. Although UKSF have modded the C8 in the form of the L119A1 rifle, SAS been using them a while by the looks of things, not much info on them from what I've been checking.

Canada has some fantastic knockoffs of the M1911, personally, my favorite is the Colonel, a fine piece of steel.

As above matey, SA80/L85A1 - never liked the look of it myself, far less badass than the SLR. But heck, it's a weapon, a tool, not cosmetic in the slightest. It does the job quite well tbf.

And being phased out by the Sharpshooter beagleboo, check it out, should appeal aesthetically to you more than the last.

aaahhh i was just kidding, i like the SA80 just fine though they had some feeding problems in the beginning.

it is one ugly rifle though, you guys should field Mk. IIIs again just for fun :P

the L129 looks neat, reminds me of the HK 417 in a lot of ways looks like it'll be really handy.
