For GZ, I know this has been mentioned before, but I would like to see jungle levels, urban levels, and like someone said before, a level where you infiltrate from the water (like Act of Valor, though I've never seen that movie). I would definitely like to see more military camp/jungle levels and maybe a snow level (although I'm not sure how that would fit in with the story). EDIT: Also nothing with space or anything haha Edited by trueguitarist95, Oct 27 2012, 11:02:58 PM.

yeah snow would be nice. bit like shadow moses, but with the graphical quality of uncharted 2's snow level. also more base infiltrations. |

I'd like a city like Urban Ultimatum from MGO and a huge base like Groznyj Grad/Shadow Moses |

My idea about Tokyo is still pretty good in my opinion because of the fact that about 95 percent of Japanese have had combat training to a certain extent. Imagine controlling Snake through a crowd in which every single person you bump into could potentially take you out - sounds pretty cool to me. My friend says that every single time he goes out in Tokyo he has to make sure not to go into an area controlled by what are basically modern day ninja fighting some kind of turf war. He once even saw a real life samurai in a bar somewhere in the centre of town take out an attacker using a katana. |

95%? Did your friend tell you that as well? Maybe something like 60-70%, but 95% is ridiculously high. Besides, even if that 95% thing is true, walking through Japan doesn't mean everyone could be an enemy. That's like being paranoid when walking through a weapon convention, because everyone has a weapon and can take you out.

Well it's funny you mention walking through a weapon convention, because my friend says Tokyo is like that - almost everyone on the street has a katana, shuriken, tonfa or other concealed weapon ready for use because the areas controlled by modern-day ronin etc. are just far too dangerous without a weapon. My idea was that Big Boss was branded a terrorist and so as he walks through Tokyo, everyday citizens (almost all of whom have training in ninjitsu/cqc/kendo etc.) feel it's their duty to take him out. I can also imagine a boss who is maybe some kind of judo master - an expert in throwing people. Snake challenges him in a dojo - the rules are simple, 'kill or be killed'. |

I'm all for a intense fist fight (like mgs4), I like the in depth control cross over in that fight and wouldn't mind seeing another brutal fight like that. Just maybe not in Tokyo lol. Maybe this judo master can get a halo drop right to msf and fight snake at his base? |

LOL there's alot wrong with that... First of all, if Big Boss was branded a terrorist in mid 70's. Why would they wait until 1995 to send Snake in to stop him? And that dojo thing sounds like something I can imagine being featured in Sleeping Dogs. I can't imagine something that banal happening in a MGS game. For example Snake vs Liquid Ocelot fight... That fight has a backstory. It won't be any random "judo master" in a MGS game LOL. |

I don't know where to start! Okay, first of all, this is its own game so there is on reason Big Boss can't be branded a terrorist and clear his name by the end of this game. You say 'they', but there could be many people out to get him. As for the dojo scene, imagine the following: the Judo master was sent to Tokyo by the burned face man (who is presumably the main villain) to take out Big Boss. The following could happen... Boss manages to escape from a crowd of aikido fighters by using stealth camo. Just when he thinks he's safe, he stumbles across a tiny wooden dojo. Because it seems empty, he decides to take refuge in there until the aikido fighters pass by (this could be during 'alert' mode or something). Wandering in he sees a Judo master in meditation on the mat. "I knew you would come. Will you take part in my a deadly game of cat and mouse?" Snake, because he's honourable, leaves his weapons to one side and steps into the ring. "Good Snake, I can see you're strong. The rules here are simple - kill or be killed". |

This sounds awesome and would go well in an alternate-universe kind of story where Big Boss is a martial arts student.

That doesn't sound that bad. But it wouldn't make sense in GZ in my opinion since I see no reason why Snake would be in Tokyo. It would be a fun fight though considering Snake's fighting style doesn't involve high flying kicks and stuff like that (at least we haven't seen that). So the two fighters would have different styles. Snake would probably fight alot like Solid in MGS4 (vs Liquid Ocelot etc.) - powerful kicks and punches and grabs. So it would be challenging and fun. This sounds great, I really hope they implement it. The CQC system still hasn't come into true fruition in my opinion, and allowing for a fight with an ancient judo master would be great in enhancing the system. More variety of moves coupled with combination attacks would be a great augmentation of the system that I personally find a bit clunky and unrefined. Definitely good in any way! |

Good point Henry. I had another idea with the Tokyo location in mind - Snake trails an enemy stealth style to the top of a skyscraper in which there is a bar. Blending in using infiltration techniques, he pretends to be a casual drinker until the enemy notices what's going on. Throwing several shuriken, the enemy attempts to kill Snake, who is forced to do a backflip (slow motion style) to escape with his life. There is then a deadly game of chess in which Snake is the pawn as twenty ninjas descend in on ropes. Using CQC/Ninjitsu, Snake manages to disarm all of them until only one is left. This last one sets a bomb, and snake has to grab a large table cloth and jump out of the window (using it as a parachute). This could be really cinematic with matrix style music. What do you think? |

I'm obviously not trolling seeing as I'm the only one coming up with good ideas. Don't get jealous that I've got some original ideas and start attacking me because you can't think of any decent scenarios yourself - it's pretty obvious to everyone that my ideas are actually plausible and would make MGGZ into a fantastic game. |
