If they use the head injury as his excuse for going evil, I'll throw my controller.
Weeell...

That'd be pretty much on-par with the "nanomachines"-bullshit in MGS4.

I'll also be furious if Big Boss becomes a victim in this series. I'll probably buy a PS4 just for this game.

I'm snapping the disk man. Won't dignify it by selling it or whatever.
I doubt Kojima would go that route though, especially with the previews talking about how when you take a step back and objectively look at things you'll see how Big Boss just went into the deep end.
Maybe it'll be one of many other reasons.

I'll do the very same thing. Sadly I think there might be a possibility that they'll pull something like this... Remember The Boss' brain damage, which rendered her extremely patriotic or something (need to relisten the PW tapes)? I can definitely see Kojima doing the same with BB, but rather making him more evil. You know how Kojima loves these sorts of poetic similarities in character's stories

That article proves that frontal lobe damage can cause that the person becomes aggresive.

BB horn its in his frontal globe

Now guys do the math

The way Big Boss talks and acts in the trailers doesn't really seems like he has any brain damage.
Also this theory doesn't work cause in Metal Gear And Metal Gear 2 he doesn't have the horn and is still "evil" Big Boss.

Still we carry you.

What about his declaration at the end of PW? All this happened because of what he did before the horn.

And, of course, it's a direct parallel with The Boss...and she was the exact opposite of angry. I can completely see someone referring to Big Boss as Mr. Left Lobe ;)

Brain damage does not need to make a person unoperational. And even if he takes out the horn the damage to his brain is already done.

Its very plausible that the horn damage also influence him and his decisions

Then explain everything thats happened before TPP and the horn?

And what does that has to do with anything?

My point is that he could have damaged his frontal lobe with the horn and he might be suffering some side effects of it the rest of his life. MGSV is about BB going dark and it has been sujested that he will commit attrocities. Damage to his frontal lobe could be an influence.

Whatever he did before takes no part in this disscusion

Remember everyone said that BB is a maniac in MG and MG2.

He is still a functional being of course but he may be suffering side effects as well

BB is shown going down a dark path before the horn, theres no reason to think Big Boss wouldn't go down this same path without the horn.

I never said that he would never do

But the posibility is there, in the past he never went the extend he is gonna go in TPP. What if BB ends up being a maniac. Im saying that its a posibility that he might be suffering from damage in his frontal lobe and that could influence him aswell
