I don't mind the idea of BB having to watch Chico die as part of his turning in to the big evil badass we love to hate. Plus that'll mean no more monster hunter references, which is a double bonus. |

Sniper Wolf young? Hot damn. Cecile was pretty fine as well. I subconsciously thought that was Sniper Wolf too. Strange. "V has come to." |

You people look a bit too much into things... Pretty sure it referenced that for the first time, the game is revealed as being MGSV, ''V has come to'' means ''The game is officially the next big MGS game''. |

If that's the case then why its said is obvious, it's just who says it and what relevance it has that's debatable. . .and at the end of the day does it really matter if it's only confirming what we already know, i.e BB wakes up from coma |

There are many people debating not only its relevance, but its meaning. So....I posted that helping people understand what it means. No one knows who is saying it. And I would assume its relevance is letting whoever shes talking to know that BB has awaken from the comma. |

Dudes of course it's a line of dialogue from the game. Yes it has a double meaning of course, but I would be very suprised if I don't hear it uttered at some point during the opening missions. |

I bet it has nothing to do with the plot, V just refers to the game. The same sentence was heard in the earlier TPP trailer and re-using it in the MGSV trailer confirms that The Phantom Pain really is the next Metal Gear Solid. |

V- could well be referring to 'Volpe' as in FOX in latin this could point to the organisation FOX, or XOF counterpart or maybe hinting at Gray Fox waking from a VR program of sorts??? |

If I had to put my money on anybody, I'd still go with Wolf. Or possibly Olga Gurlukovich's mother? She'd be a kid by the 80's, as well, so it makes a kind of sense. Though how Big Boss meets the Gurlukovich's is anybody's guess. |

Maybe "V" stands for Volgin. and Volgin has come/awaken to get revenge on BB. That burned man from the ground zeroes demo could have been Volgin. In the gametrailers interview Kojima said that "V" stands for victory and its their way of creating a game thats better than any game in the west today. Plus Paz kept showing her two fingers in peacewalker saying V is for victory as well. So maybe V has something to do with Paz or in other words V will have to do something with cypher/patriots. |

The possibility of this game going through several years past the coma disproves your point. Of course, all of this is just speculation. |

He wakes up in 1984, and by the sound of her voice she would be in her 50s in MGS...she wasn't. |

He wakes up in 1984, but no one has said the game only takes place in 1984. For all we know, it goes through several years time, but we don't know that. I also gave the possibility of Olga Gurlukovich's mother but it seems people ignored that. |
