I mean, this game is kinda going to the Grand Theft Solid, of course, there will be original soundtrack for it, but i really wish them to use a lot of songs from the 80īs to intensify the gameīs 80īs feeling XD Obviously, those songs gotta be played in the vehicleīs radios, a la GTA. Iīm not asking you if you want that kinda soundtrack, i just want you to help me to build a list with memorable songs from the 80īs.

Ok, letīs start.

1. Barracuda - Heart
2. Back in Back - AC/DC
3. We Dindnīt Star The Fire - Billy Joel

Keep listing more songs!

Highway to the Danger Zone- Kenny Loggins.

Big Boss is a real man , and real men listen to Kenny Loggins.

In all seriousness, I think Tangerine Dream was pretty active during the 80's, some of their music might be fitting.

Are you saying that you don't seriously think that "Danger Zone" should be apart of the soundtrack!?

I'd expect there to be some sort of music device, considering MGS4 had the ipod, probably over the radio in MGSV. I'd like there to be some pop music from that era, it'd make the experience that much more memorable i think.

I chose this playist based on events and action that i expect in the game, mixed with the cheesy era (and maybe a couple of 70's songs in there too).

Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot
David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World
Tom Sawyer - Rush
Journey - Separate Ways (worlds apart)
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive
Pixies - Wave of Mutilation
Duran Duran - Hungry Like the Wolf
Guns n' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart
Europe - The Final Countdown
AC/DC - Back In Black

She had some mental problems and was locked away in mental health facility (or torture prisons in her words) approx. every six months for weeks, sometimes months. Let me see if I can find some pictures of those cats.

Jail Guard
My Sharona - The Knack

Anything by The Clash

Beat It - MJ

Every Breath You Take (Tactical Stalker Action) - The Police

I Stop The World And Melt With You - Forgot who that's by....

Anything by Queen

Anything by Dire Straits

Anything by Talk Talk ( Highly doubt it'd actually happen though)

Anything by Bowie

Honestly I wouldn't mind some metal either. Poppy stuff like Ratt/Warrent/Cinderalla/EVH would be ok, but I'd really like some Moterhead/Accept/British Steel era Judas Priest/AC/DC/Dio/Krokus/Ozzy/Maybe some Iron Maiden/Maybe some Scorpions. Isn't the eighties when thrash got big? Maybe the big 4 then, too. G n' R also. That's all for now. Oh and some old skool rap would be nice too. :)

Why would we want real life music in MGS? This isn't GTA.

We don't, it's really just talking about 80's music. Nobody expects this stuff to be in there.

Obviously we don't want to be creeping through the jungle with 80's Electro-pop as the backing music, but to have music appropriate for the timeframe playing on in-game radios would be awesome. Kinda like Black Ops did with any song that has been featured in a vietnam film but with 80's music rather than late 60's music.

TBH, I'd find it hilarious to sneak up on a couple of guards parked up in their jeep, while smoking cigarrettes and listening to this on the radio.

I expect most of the in game soundtrack to be tense, atmospheric stuff but having a few subtle references to the games timeframe would be nice. On that note, the 80's music would have to be purely in the post-coma game.
