Well the game is going to take place in 1984, so..

Van Halen anyone? Really, if i could kill people as BigBoss while listening to Hot for Teacher...

Also, ZZ Top released Sharp Dressed Man in 1983. Since snake always gets a tux at some point..,
The day I get to play as Big Boss wearing a tuxedo while the playstation is playing Sharp Dressed Man is the day my life will be complete.

What if Paramedic is forcing him to learn about music now too?
That would be the only good thing she did after joining the patriots XD

I put Hang 'em High in the list I made earlier, I woulda put a lot more Van Halen in there but I wanted to keep some variety.

She had some mental problems and was locked away in mental health facility (or torture prisons in her words) approx. every six months for weeks, sometimes months. Let me see if I can find some pictures of those cats.

I was just talking about the VH album that was released in 1984...titled 1984. Dont ask me why but when i think of songs from 1984 thats the first thing that comes to mind haha. Also i think itd be pretty awesome to play metal gear to ac/dc or led zeppelin, though the time periods a little late for zeppelin.

1984 was released in 1983. Just sayin'

Edit: Plus Diver Down is their best album and that was released in '82 so it's not that far off.

Well... she DID give us the Gray Fox we all know and love.

Although the manner in which she did is perhaps the most evil, twisted, sadistic and cruel method ever...

I can do that with Van Halen I all the way through 1984 (the Diamond Dave albums) but anything after that is hit or miss with me. Van Halen III is terrible, I don't like a single song on it.

Although DLR's solo albums are pretty rockin'

Damn, I was wrong about that. I know on my album the copywright date is 1983, they must have finished recording in '83 but released it in '84.

Thank god they will not be using any of the songs posted in this thread.

The only things worse than hair metal is hair and my food and hair in my favorite video game series.

I think that since the FOX unit was part of the CIA, that they'd have given Zero some specifications to how it would be acceptable to run things, which probably meant that bagging your turds and carrying them around with you was tossed out the window, it'd be stupid anyway since even if it was bagged, the stench would've leaked out eventually, and I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure I'd be able to smell it if some random guy was crawling through the bushes carrying a bag of his own shit, especially if he put that and urinated in the same bag...yeah...not very stealthy.

So with you on this one.

I look at the 80's hair metal scene like a blemish in the history of music.

Yeah I try and pretend it doesn't exist most of the time.

I have nightmares of a time when I agreed to fill in as a bassist for an 80s cover band. Musically, the worst time in my life.

For this game I hope they just stick with their own badass soundtrack, not one that is even influenced by the time period. The Snake Eater theme worked out because the bond theme was just awesome.

Agreed.

I'm loving the Garbage track though. That song just fits this series on so many levels.

"Goodnight Saigon" by Billy Joel

This song can be played while Big Boss is recruiting Child Soldiers or something like that...
