Am I the only one wondering how Boss is still functioning after a nine year coma,I mean I've seen part of the trailer where he was super emaciated and crawling towards the door, but how are his bones not breaking since he has had little to no calcium, unless they were pumping minerals and vitamins into him.
They do feed coma patients obviously, and they also exersise their joints and muscles to keep them in order, just not to BB's usual level.

It's a game. Not real life. You have to suspend your disbelief.

Didn't Kojima refer to this game as being a 'stealth simulator'?

Quite random I know but your comment triggered a flashback. If he did lmfao.

Did I draw a direct comparison?

My exact words

Also.

Simulator by definition:

"a machine designed to provide a realistic imitation of the controls and operation of a vehicle, aircraft, or other complex system, used for training purposes."

Either way you lose and I win mo'fucka.

I was reading about comatose patients today because of TPP. They try and give the patient a balanced diet and move them on their sides and back every few hours to avoid bed sores and other things. Also they move them to sit upright. So all those things combined help for when the patient hopefully wakes up. Big Boss is also a strong man mentally so he probably forced himself to move and is using every ounce of strength in him to do so to survive. I think it's actually pretty realistic for a video game.

Yes. Your "exact" words were "Didn't Kojima refer to this game as being a 'stealth simulator'?" in response to it not being real life. Which you found to be hilarious.

Yeah you're probably right.
I doubt anyone besides boss could do that.

It stopped being a realistic stealth simulator when it became MGS. A simulator for fighting Bipedal Robot Tanks. Didn't he say Infiltration Simulator? Can't remember because that's more appropriate.

So is XOF using young Psycho Mantis to hunt down boss? Because what I have seen of the first level it seems that way to me.
I feel as though Mantis will be playing a integral part in TPP.

He seems to be taking out soldiers and even a helicopter, so I don't think he's on XOF's side if that's who they are.

Maybe the quote from Mantis in MGS1 feeling nostalgic about helping someone with his powers comes from something he did to help Big Boss.

I wonder if he's connected to some other group like the Russians. Maybe he needs to capture Snake alive.

I think I'll go with the speculation that those are XOF soldiers. My strange reason is that this is based on the design of their legs lol.

Only me

This game is a nothing simulator, period. ''Infiltration simulator''? no. ''Stealth simulator?'' no.
I don't have a problem with that but the realism is clearly overstated.

It could be, but I'm sure I read the nostalgia comment was to do with him being able to feel his mothers last 'help', pushing him into the world whilst losing her life.
