Spiders, but I got over that. I also had recurring dreams about Chuckie, even though I had never seen the Child's Play movies back then. I only knew him from the film covers and movie stills. But I got over that too :P

What genuinely creeps me out these days are distorted faces.

I have no idea why or when I developed a fear of dumplings, but that is probably what frightened me the most as a child. When my half sister found out about this she actually threw a dumpling at me whilst we were at the dinner table, it was dreadful.

I can't really remember what scared the living daylights out of me when I was incredibly young. I'll have to think about this.

@OJ: I've never heard of anyone being afraid of food before.

As for me, most of my fears as a child remain, just in a way that they've become more subdued, but still find rather creepy.
A Common theme with all my fears is that I'm still fascinated with what scares me. Which is how I've managed to conquer most if not all my fears. I Study them.

Sharks: Jaws is one of the reasons, Pitch Black Water is the other. As a kid I used to read about sharks all the time, and because of this, it made terrific Nightmare Fuel. It became so bad I even feared a Shark would tear up out of the Shower Floor and Eat me.
Only now do I understand Sharks aren't out there to get me. And that chances of one actually attacking, is slim.
It's just a scary thought in general to be in the water with something larger and has a big maw of Teeth.

Spiders: Who isn't scarred of spiders? I don't think I can think of one person who isn't even a little afraid. I think it's because of their Movement and Their amount of Legs. There just isn't something on earth quite like them. I'm unable to even approach one.
That was when I decided I should try an conquer this fear, because if I couldn't even approach one, I needed to work on that. Still, out of all my fears, that was the one I never wanted to Conquer.
My basic Strategy was to ignore them. Because at the time I walked into every room looking at walls and floors.
So far it's going well, and I've seen less spiders this summer then any other summer I've lived.
Again, I read about them as well. Which is originally what scarred me.
Now I just repeat to myself that there only there to maintain the area of other insects...

Clowns: Easiest one to conquer by far, but really tormented me as a child. I find Clown art to be fascinating, their origins, why they scare me and so on.
We're all familiar with a Gruesome Scary looking Clown, right?
And a Normal looking Clown at Children's party's?
Well this may be surprising, but I think the Cleaner Nicer Clowns are creepier then those Evil Looking Clowns.
Simply put, their too unassuming, behind those smiles is something awful(In my imagination)

As already Mentioned previously.

Mirrors Only because I think there might be someone watching me through the other side by camera.
While I won't say how I did it, I did Conquer that fear, and no longer am afraid of Mirrors.

CSI and those Cold Cases or 48 Hours type things: I like a lot of Monsters and so on. But those realistic Murder Case shows creep me out. Especially with there Piano Music, Close ups on Pictures and Drab Narrator.

As a kid I was afraid of the dark (like most), but I don't think I've completely kicked that fear. Just not being able to see and the thought that anything could be hiding in it combined still kind of gets to me. When I turn all of the lights off and start walking to my room I'm fine but when I think about the dark (and the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who) start walking at a much faster pace. I guess I'm not really "afraid" of the dark, I guess my imagination just gets the better of me at times.

A Nightmare On Elm Street creeped me out a lot as a kid. The idea that you could die in your nightmare and actually die in real life, without having very much control over it, really fucked with me.

I didn't necessarily have a problem with mirrors but that movie Candyman freaked me out, where you'd look in the mirror and say his name three times and he'll appear behind you and kill you... My siblings and cousins used to always dare each other to do it and it always freaked me out.

There was a commercial for some show waaaaay back in the day, I have no idea what show it was. Was around 4-5 (I think) and the commercial showed a little kid in his room looking for his stuffed bear. He's on top of his bed, decides to poke his head under the bed. Sees the bear and reaches down to grab it... AND A BIGASS MONSTER HAND GRABS THE KID AND SUCKS HIM UNDER!

Needless to say, I was not a fan of under the bed for some time.

I uses to (and kinda still am) be terrified of Bees and Wasps. I would go crying when i was little if i saw one.

The second thing i was scared at were clowns. I remember i went to the circus a long time ago and my parents had to take me home because i was screaming bloody murder when i saw a clown.

The third (Im still terrified by this) were the twins from The Shining. And I watched that movie in a hotel room!

MGSF - Where everyone is right and you're wrong

Clowns mainly, it didn't help when my mam got me a batman themed bedroom set with the curtains having only the Jokers face all over it, I was to scared to tell her lol, thought the Joker would get me.

Interestingly, I had constant nightmares as a child about this one clown who would try and kill me, it went on for years, but in one dream I killed him and i've never seem him since, I do have the odd nightmare where I see a silhouette or shadow of what I think is the same clown.

Black and white pictures, especially if they had people in them.
Dreaming, because I would have really vivid nightmares.
Shit under my bed.
The big pile of stuff in my basement.
The music in this commercial for some creepy show on the travel channel.
