Old topic, very old... still, I wanted to ask about this, just in case someone knows sicne I haven't found the info I want: http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/mgs3/uk/system_cqc.html According to Motosada Mori, CQC is a real life combat technique used by special security units, which he learned when he was a SWAT instructor. Still, when you search "CQC" on the internet, you'll see that it is a very general term for hand-to-hand combat, almost anybody who knows littlebit about fighting can call his style CQC. Are there any martial artists or fighters here? anyone with military/police experience who knows about the real life CQC motosada Mori was talking about? I have martial arts experience (6+ years of shotokan karate, 1 year in boxing, 6 months in judo and a few lessons of MMA), and havent learned anything similar to CQC, judo might be the closest one but it still very diferent... |

I'm guessing it's mostly based on Krav Maga. |
