There's this quantum theory that suggests that the past, the present, and he future all exist at the same time. I don't know. Just typing that out makes my head spin. |

Time is a human concept somethin thats been taught to us as means to know the position of where our planet is agienst the sun and moon, that said, if time travel was possible, i think we wouldn't beable to travel back in time on our own line otherwise you create a paradox, so you would travel back in time but within the multiverse as well.. |

If humanity hasn't already wiped itself out in a nuclear frenzy then time travel, if it ever does become a working reality, would surely be the instrument of our demise. People would abuse it, people would fuck shit up. |

Doesn't the neutrino go back in time? I remember reading an article about it, anyone know about this? |

There was a theory that neutrino could travel faster than light. Which brought up questioning its ability to travel time. But it was all debunked last year. |

no, my extremely limited understanding of physics tell me that it's impossible. and if it weren't I don't even want to think about all the problems it would cause. time paradox etc also, time travel is a very overrated element in stories. |

In short, No. Stephen Hawkins theory has disproved the possibility of time travel. |

![]() I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of God. I've seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is here [the head] and here [the heart] and what you decide to do every day will make you a good man...or not | |

Exept in BTTF. I don't think it's possible either. Time is something that was invented by man. The only thing that exists is the "now" and past and future only exist in that "now" as metaphysical elements. I'd like to be proven wrong, though. |

In order to travel through time, you would have to exceed the speed of light. This cannot be achieved as the mass of an object increases as you approach the speed of light. the energy required to move said object is massive. |

Just really, is toying with the rules of the universe themselves a smart idea, if we could? we can play within their boundaries, but not fuck with them. Time travel is an impossibility, but really, it probably won't be used for good things or even to ''correct'' history. *Save the world from atrocities, etc* it would be our own demise. |

It would only be dramatical for you, as you would end up being trapped in a tangent in which your future doesn't exist. |

I don't think you could travel through time, time is an invention of the human mind, after all. |

To travel back in time you would have to exceed the speed of light which as mickey said is impossible. To travel forward in time you have to approach the speed of light (for example traveling around the earth at close to light-speed) unfortunately the energy required to reach such speed would be immense, and also the human body would certainly not survive such speeds. So yeah, back in time is impossible, forward in time is theoretically possible but practically impossible. Note. we all travel through time at different rates according to our relative velocities and positions, if you drive past me in a car your watch will be ticking slightly slower compared to mine, and vice versa. |

E=Mc2. Energy, mass and the force required to move said mass. Simple really. |

Thanks for giving me the equation. So time travelling forward, you guys think you would want to find what happens tomorrow before tomorrow happens? |
