So I was fiddling around when I found some CD's that'd just been lying around. So I got my stereo and put a few in. One song made me think of something and I wondered what other opinions people had. In typical domino effect fashion, one thing lead to another and now theres this topic. If your curious, the song was Sum 41's "Angels With Dirty Faces". They say something about a perfect hell, and that made me wonder, wtf is hell anyway? The general idea is it's some dark underground place of fire and brimstone where the wicked and the damned spend eternity after they die... Personally, I agree with a diferent interpretation I got of hell. Rather than hot, Hell is cold. A vast wastland of bitter ice and desolate snow that goes on forever. Remnants of the dead stuck frozen in the ice where they can wail in their eternal pain as they suffer the cold. Really though Hell is a city in Michigan, but that's beside the point... Whats hell look like in your eyes? |

I currently don't have any religious beliefs but if I did it'd probably be extreme boredom so something along those lines. Just the thought about be trapped somewhere with absolutely nothing to do, ono way to get out and not being able to do anything but sit there is unbearable to me. |

Hell is some texting a*sehole crashing into your car, killing your 7mth old unrborn daughter, leaving you with extreme neuopathic and spinal injuries that cause you the worst pain imaginable, that will never leave you, that you have to take morphine for...then asking in court, because he could afford a way better lawyer than a young couple could 'Well what do I have to apologise for?' and smirking in your face getting away with it. Thats hell. Fire and brimstone? only ghost stories! Everyone goes through heaven and hell in their life. Its unfortunate that hell always seems to be the slowest thing ever, but heaven is dust in the wind it's so quick. |

Intresting topic (following). And even though I don't believe in any of religious things, I know where hell is. It's located 4 km southeast of my homecity downtown - others call it island, I call it my childhood and hell descprited in media is heaven compared to that place. |
