I'm more of a beer guy than anything. On occasion I'll have something other than a beer but about 8/10 times I drink an alcoholic beverage it's a beer.

I'm prefer darker beers and not that light stuff like Bud Light, and Chorona. Beers like Sam Adams, Newcastle, and Hefeweizen usually are my choices. I love wheat beer too!
Please tell me youve drank a Guinness Extra Stout.

Best beer I ever drank in my life.
Extra stout was pretty damn good :)

New Castle is decent, and I like Sam Adams but I can't have it..something in it gives me a horrendous headache... :hmm:

a headache the following day is pretty much a given is pretty much a given if you drink too much of any of the stuff i mentioned :)

also just wondering:what was the maximum ammount of shots you people had in one night?my record is 17(went to this bar with some buddies that had shots at 15 cents each on my last BD party)

KingOfNeverland, I'm talking about if I try to drink a Sam Adams, I get a headache with 10 minutes or so of drinking it. There are a few other beers that do that to me. =/

Also, less than 10 as far as shots go though I can go through a bottle of wine pretty easy.

I like a glass of red wine with dinner, Malibu (straight of course), averna (which is a Sicilian drink 3 ingredients: sugar, spice and alcohol) and my uncle's homemade grapa (which makes vodka seem like water)

I once tried a little glass of Tequilla, what a powerful poison. But I just took little gulps each two minutes or so, because I wans´t allowed to get home drunk. I never got drunk, actually -_-2

I drink scotch :patriot: preferable Single Malt scotch. And wheat beer... Best scotch I drank so far was a 15yo Yamazaki  but pretty pricey...

Mhh I didn't taste that. I will definitely try that out! I'd recommend you to try a Hibiki 17 yo it's blended but taste is pretty good ;) but like I said, I prefer single malt and I guess you think no different about that :D

Yea I've been told the Japanese single malts that are made like they make Scotch, 2 times distilled, are great single malts too. so I am aware of their good taste even though I haven't tasted yet. Fortunately we have a country's best whisky bar here in my city, they have like over 400 different whiskies there.

Yamazaki, Hibiki and Nikka Yoichi have been on my to do list for a while now so I guess I'll have to do something about it soon. :)

Have you tasted cask strength whiskies? Try Laphroaig 10 yo CS, it's waaay better than the original 10 yo. Of course every cask have their own personality in the taste but usually it's waaay better! :patriot:

God I envy you <_< :D No never tasted cask strength whiskies, sounds interesting, I check them out aswell ;) Thanks dude!

Unfortunately I have no idea where to get such stuff here, here in my town are just some shady hillbilly retardlers bars, guess have to visit a friend and check if they got that stuff there...

Oh and do you put a drop of water in your whisky sometimes ? I'd rather have them pure, but sometimes it's interesting to taste the change of the taste :D As far as I know this is only done with single malt whisky.

Yeah I like to add drop or two but mainly without like you. :) people do it with all kinds of whisky/whiskey. Even with blends.

Some favorite blends of mine,

Black Bush (Bushmills)
Jameson the original
Islay Mist (probably best "Islay" type of blended scotch)
Cutty Sark 12 yo
Double Black (Johnnie Walker)
Black Grouse

btw if you sometimes need to taste very sweet/light/easy tasty whiskey, try Green Spot or Redbreast 12 yo. Awesome, especially during summer time when it's not dark at nights. :)

Mhh barely knew sweet whiskies at all, I try them out ;)

Double Black (Johnnie Walker) isn't that on par with Jack Daniels, or am I mistaken :o ?

Ever tried Gin ?

By the way what's your opinion about Rum ? Me never liked it, but a friend recently told me that there are many that are actually very tasty ,sweet, fruity and some such...

No Johnnie Walkers (Scotch whisky) are not par with Jack Daniels (tennesee whiskey). :) And some gins in a bar / night clubs.. but I really do not enjoy other alcohol that much myself other than Whiskey/Whisky so Nay for rum too. hah. I can drink them though - that's not a problem, in Finland, we drink a lot hah. But when I really want to enjoy I just take 1-3 glasses of scotch while watching a movie or something, listening to music, relaxing. So good. Other alcohol, I kinda use for getting drunk if I want to. :D

Sometimes I drink wines with food but I'm not that into to wines tbh. they taste good though.
